PRAY FOR JEEVA, boy in yellow who turned 8 today. He seems to really be enjoying his birthday candle! His sister Keerthana (10) is on the right.
Three days before the year end. Pray the "Father of the fatherless and Judge for the widow" (Psalms 68:5) will touch many hearts to give to RHM during these next 2 or 3 days. Thanks!

PRAY FOR NITHYA. Nithya (right), whose name means "eternal", turned 7 yesterday, the 26th. Her birth name is one of the Hindu "gods". Our HOPE children chose her new name, which she really likes. A very lovable girl, now studying in kindergarten.

"HAPPY CHRISTMAS" at HOPE. Here are HOPE boys with Brother Dan after receiving some new clothes for Christmas. It's been a wonderful season for sharing the Gospel with many, besides a multitude of programs with singing dancing and sharing about WHY our Lord came into this world.

Click onto the above link to see our appeal for end of the year donations, which are very much needed to help us go into the new year. Sometimes we go for weeks or months without larger donations being made, so the surplus which often comes at the end of the year is so helpful in this ministry to the needy children and elderly here in India.

WIDOWS & ELDERLY receiving new clothes for Christmas. We're very thankful to the Lord and to our donors for providing some new clothes for all the widows, elderly & handicapped which RHM is helping (to whatever degree). These are from the village of Alluru, Brother Peter one of their pastors in that village. Peter and his wife were overseeing our HOPE boys for more than one year, but returned to ministry with Peter's father and brothers in Alluru.

PRAY FOR VENI, who turned 10 today. She's been in HOPE since she was a puffy-cheeked little 3 year old. She's from a Hindu family, her real name Venkateswaramma, named after one of their "gods". She loves Veni instead. One of her biggest excitements recently is the fact that, as a result of her witness, her mother is now going to church. May her little heart continue to burn with a passion to make Him known throughout her life here on earth.
Below is Veni when she came to HOPE in 2012, and in a more recent photo.

SHARING HIS LIFE DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON
We are very happy to be able to share the story and purpose of JESUS Christ to many different people/villages in various ways during this season. Through the HOPE ministry we're able to share with many via the Christmas programs in the villages and in the school. Through the widows/elderly ministry, we're able to share with many of the elderly. Praise His Name! "Whatever you do in word or deed, do all things in the Name of our Lord JESUS Christ, giving thanks through Him to GOD the Father." Colossians 3:17
Below are some widows (one younger one has HIV and was abandoned by her husband) after receiving a new Christmas dress a couple of days ago.

PRAY FOR NEHIMIYA, who turned 11 on the 10th. She's from another girls home which RHM gives some support to in a state north of HOPE. She lost her sight in her left eye; still praying for a miracle in her life. She's a nice singer, winning a singing competition in her school not long ago.

SWEET MEMORIES of sweet girls. Angel (right, then 8) with little Sravani (3) on Christmas morning 2011. Thanks forevermore to our Heavenly Father for giving the opportunity to extend His love unto these little ones, and many more like them!

Precious elderly people from Cheemalapenta (top photo) and Chundi (bottom), all but one being widows, getting new blankets in November. Planning to give a new Christmas dress to all the widows/elderly (147 total) this month. Pray for this elderly ministry, that it would be all the Lord wants it to be for the benefit of these people, and for His glory. "But the brother [or sister] of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position." James 1:9 (a theme verse for the elderly during our last visitation with the elderly in some of the villages, intent on bringing to the widows and poor believers' hearts the reality that our Father's ways are so much different than man's ways. Though the world may not think of these poor, illiterate people as having much worth, through the Cross and receiving His salvation the Lord has placed a very high value upon their lives and future!)

Pray for HOPE'S SUVARNA, I'm sure one of the sweetest girls on earth. She turns 14 tomorrow (the 4th). She's now studying in the 8th grade. From a young age, maybe 7 years old, she's had a tender heart toward the Lord. Pray she will never lose that, but will grow in her passion to know and serve Him.

Friday, November 30, 2018

Pray for Brother Isaac, who is the HOPE School principal. We celebrated his birthday today in the school with many songs, greetings, and sharing the Word of GOD. Below are the 6th and 7th grade boys giving a photo frame to Bro. Isaac as a gift. The four 7th grade girls sang a nice song for their principal, which they themselves wrote. It was nice.

Wednesday, November 28, 2018

Pray for HOPE's Gani (left), who had his 9th birthday today. This is his natural brother, Simha, saying some "greetings", things he appreciates about Gani. Gani is a sweet-natured boy, now studying in the 4th grade.

SUJANAMMA where her house USED to be. When visiting with the widows and elderly yesterday in the village of Alluru, we could see firsthand the situation and need in some of their lives. Sujanamma had a hut behind her, but it collapsed during the rainy season this year. She's currently staying in the church of the brothers whom we are working with in this widows' ministry. Please help us build her another home, perhaps less than $500 for a simple structure with cement sheets as a roof.

Sunday, November 25, 2018

Pray for Chandu (bigger HOPE boy on the right) and Blessy, (in the blue shirt, who is Isaac and Smitha's son). Many have been having fevers, coughs and colds this month (myself included). Chandu is doing much better today than yesterday, but Blessy has been having a high fever for several days, mostly sleeping. Thanks!

Besides precious photos of a variety of ministries, the main thrust of this newsletter is concerning this year's CHRISTMAS PROJECT and an appeal for end-of-the-year donations.
May the Lord bless abundantly all those who have a tender heart for the same things His Heart is tender for: the needy children and elderly. "This is pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our GOD and Father: to visit the orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unspotted by the world." James 1:27

where we hope to conduct Christmas programs this year.

Our ministry friend, Prasanth, was blessed with a new baby boy last night, whom they have nicknamed Benny. Pray for little Benny. His mother, Prasanthi, is doing well. Prasanth helps us much in the ministry to the widows and elderly.

PRAY FOR ELIZABETH, who turned 9 today.
Elizabeth came into HOPE at less than 2 years old, malnourished and weak. Her name was Nagalakshmi at that time, named after a so-called goddess of wealth. She's still not a very strong girl, but she's grown well, now studying in the 3rd grade. Pray that she'll get more strength physically, but especially that she will fall in love with her Savior.

For the first time visiting the famous city of Kolkata, previously called Calcutta, where Mother Teresa did much of her ministry years ago. Checking out a ministry here. Need the Lord's discernment, what if anything He's wanting us to connect with here. There's definitely a potential to help widows, and perhaps poor children in the future. Let His will only be done.
The main "god" (actually a goddess) here in Kolkata is Kali, on the
left standing upon Siva, another mythical god. Not sure why she's
standing or dancing upon him, but I'm sure the whole story,
considering the fact that millions actually believe these things,
brings Satan much delight.

Cute little girl who is part of a small school in a slum area here
in Kolkata. All the children are from non-Christian backgrounds,
learning about our Lord in the school and in Sunday School.

SUGUNAMMA
It's difficult to know sometimes if we should get angry or feel disgusted by the lack of compassion for their parents or grandparents, or say "Praise GOD" that this precious widow at least has something to keep her halfway dry, which is better than what many people have in this cruel world.
This is Sugunamma, a widow in the village of Bangarakkapalem in India, whom we have the blessing of assisting. Her oldest son lives in the house, built with the help of the government. He made this stick & tarp shanty for his mother to stay in. She needs the help of that walker to get around.
Pray for her, and pray for us; if the Lord gives us a way to help her to where what we give is not stolen away, then that may be a possibility.

Please pray for HOPE's Yesubabu, who turned 13 yesterday, the 4th. He came to HOPE at 3 years old. The father is unknown, and his mother has passed away. He's a nice boy, now studying in the 7th grade. He's very good at sports, and has a helping nature. Pray for his future, especially for his spiritual life.

Open the above youtube link to see a group of pastors praising the Lord. We've been a part of these pastors' meetings for years, RHM being the channel of funds for the sponsor who's been encouraging these meetings. The main benefits of these meetings has been supplying the pastors/ministers with materials, and also giving much encouragement to those who are doing ministry in tough places of India.
Pray for the pastors, as the support for these meetings is coming to an end after December. Pray they will continue to find the fellowship and materials they need to do their ministries well.

Happy to Give Blankets to Widows and Elderly!
Thankful for the blessing of going with Brother Prasanth earlier this week to distribute blankets to the widows/elderly in his area of southeast India.
After giving their monthly funds, a blanket was also given to all the widows & elderly
in Prasanth's area (71 at this time). These elderly believers are from Chinthayapalem.
Narsamma (woman on far left) is one of many members who are nearly deaf; the
man on the left, Prasad, is about 90% blind.

Widows and elderly from the 2 villages which make up Kondu Botlavaripalem.
The man toward the front, Subba Rao (50 to 55), has never been married, and is
partially mentally handicapped and not able to work enough to support himself.

Widows and elderly from the villages around Karlapalem. All are widows except
3 (one has a husband who's mostly blind; one abandoned by her husband, the
other sent out of the home because she came to Christ).

Pray for sweet Mary, who turned 13 today. She's been in HOPE since she was 3 years old, now studying in the 7th grade. She was so happy today, as we spent some time to celebrate her birthday. She's a good girl, partly because she TRIES to be a good girl, but also because she has a heart that wants more of Christ in her life. Below Mary's on the left, Sravanthi on the right. Thanks for your prayers!

NEW DONATION PAGE COMING
As many of you know, ever since our donation processing company changed over to a new system, we have had some MAJOR issues with givers/donors not being able to give donations, especially via their checking accounts. Sadly, we've even lost a considerable amount of funds because of this issue.
Pray for us as we, in the midst of an already VERY busy season, seek to change over to a more dependable company and donation page. Don't worry, I'm hopeful we'll be able to make this change without most people having any inconvenience at all. Pray for that.
Bless all you who pray and give!

PRAY FOR RESHMA
Reshma came to HOPE in early 2015, quite a character to say the least. Hitting, pinching, and quarreling were par for the course for this little girl, only 6 years old at the time. We can put flowers in their hair, but we can't put flowers (the beauty of a loving and gentle character) within their heart. Only He can do that, and He's doing a nice work in Reshma.
She's changed a lot, and now everyone actually likes her. Haha.
Her older sister, Rizwana (now 11), is also in the girls home, and these 2 really have much love for each other. Pray for Reshma, as she turned 10 yesterday, and is studying in the 4th grade.

FORGIVE ME as I fumble my way through trying to learn how to work this blog, and how to maintain the information properly. I can see that I have goofed with most of the previous blog posts, as I deleted many of the photos and links associated with these posts. Whoops!

Click onto this link for RHM's OCTOBER UPDATE. I hope you'll take time to look at the photos and captions, as well as meditate on the spiritual truths which are being shared. I know the Lord will touch your heart.

In the future, we will try to make this a main channel of info for the RHM ministry. Our Facebook page has never seemed to generate much interest. Pray for us, that He will instruct our minds in regard to how to direct traffic to this blog, resulting in more prayer and more support. Pray also for me, as there is so much to do. It is often difficult to find time to work on the internet sources of communication, especially when the internet connection is so poor and unreliable in the smaller towns and villages of India.

Bless you. Below are precious HOPE girls (left to right): Aksha (8), Subhashini (12), Charity (9)
Dan

Thursday, October 4, 2018

Brother Wesley and I (Dan) headed for a forest area of India where the Lord's used us as a channel of support for those enduring persecution for their faith in Christ. Pray for us: our journey, safety, health, and His anointing. We'll be ministering to wives of Christian men in prison, widows, a girls home, and having meetings with pastors.
Bless you.
Dan
