The woman below is Venkateswaramma, named after one of the many gods in Hinduism. She is married, she and her husband being elderly, living in a hut, and unable to work. She is about 80 (they don't know for sure their ages), and he is well into his 90's and nearly blind. In March the doctors were saying that Venkateswaramma was in the "final stage" of breast cancer, but we are thankful she is still with us. She comes to any prayer or church meetings when she can, and is a very prayerful woman. RHM for a few months was helping with a larger amount each month for her treatment; now it is a lower amount. Pray with us, that the "Father of the fatherless and Judge for the widow" (Psalms 68:5) will enable us to do more for the widows and elderly.
