Some might think of the birthdays as boring or uneventful. But it's part of the love of JESUS that draws the hearts of the people to us, which in turn opens their hearts up more to the Word, encouragement, correction, warnings, counsel, etc. the Lord would lead us to speak into their lives. "Discipleship" that doesn't include speaking into the person's life isn't real discipleship. Just like a parent loves their child (not only with feelings, but also with direction), we also have much love for the people. Below is Yesubabu and Kumari, a couple whom we have helped in the past, with Prem Kumari (girl on left, who turned 12 a week ago) and her cousin Arpana, who turned 15 over a week ago. Sadly, being from a poor village, the adults don't see the value of education, so Arpana has stopped, even though she is very intelligent. Prem Kumari is deaf, and has too much fear to attend school. Please pray for these precious girls.
