Faithful Service

This sister, Nagendramma, lost her husband in late 2020. Because of many beatings, she was suffering much from headaches when we met her in 2021. She also was very depressed, not understanding how the Lord could possibly rescue her out of her physical problems, and all of the financial debt that her husband had incurred. But the Lord has done wonders in her life, helping her much through your donations, but also giving her favor in other ways. Praise the Lord! Brother Marthababu and his wife Pavani visit this family regularly. I just heard a song about how the Lord uses the "hidden valleys" of obscurity to train many of His servants, and I thought about this couple. Much of their ministry is like this, sharing JESUS with just a few people at a time, and we can see much spiritual growth and blessing upon their lives.

One more quick testimony: Nagendramma was forced to marry her husband at 11 years old! She was barren for about 22 years, having much sadness in her heart about her life. Our Father never forgot her, granting her the older boy in this photo, Jone. About 6 years later, she was blessed with another boy, Jaison. Please pray for this precious family, and for Marthababu & Pavani's children's ministry.

Look What the Lord Has Done!

Look What the Lord Has Done! RHM May Update

Click onto the above to see the latest from RHM in India. There's some teaching about His great love for the "fatherless" also. Bless you. Please keep us in your prayers. Below are mostly children in prayer groups seeking the Lord.

Precious Widow and Her Grandson

This is Koteswaramma and her grandson, Abhishek, after receiving some rice. Koteswaramma is part of our widows ministry, Abhishek our children's ministry. Her govt id card says she's about 46 years old, but her daughter's card says that the daughter (also a widow, Abhishek's mother) is 38. The government officials often record information carelessly, and this becomes a big problem when Koteswaramma reaches 60, qualifying for the govt widows pension, but her id card shows her age as much younger. Her husband died of a stroke in 2022. She, her daughter, grandson and an uncle all live together. Abhishek's uncle isn't able to work because of some kind of mental or demonic problem that came on him as a teenager (no one understands what happened). Koteswaramma is not working because of diabetes, high BP and stomach issues, but Abhishek's mother is working in the agriculture fields. Abhishek, now 10, is a nice boy, going into the 6th grade, your donations sponsoring his education. His Daddy died in 2017 in an auto rickshaw accident.

Happy Birthday Kethan!

Kethan (the boy) turned 17 on May 20th, he and his sister, Shiny, very happy that day! Both these children bring much joy to our hearts, as both have a deep love for the Lord. When we have Bible studies together (which they and their mother always want when we do video calls), they know much of the content of the Scriptures or stories before an explanation can even be given. Most of the children which RHM is assisting are not in that position, as they have very little background with the Bible. Shiny (18) and Kethan's mother loves the Lord, is a Sunday School teacher, and has been teaching her 2 children since they were very small. Their Daddy is a believer, but has some health issues, and so the mother (by GOD's grace) has had to carry most of the load in every area of life. Please pray for the Lord's blessing and direction for Kethan's future. He is in college and usually gets more than 95% on any tests. So many people will give their opinions about his future, but he has expressed a desire for years to be a missionary somewhere.

A Room for Nageena and Her Mother

The mother (Karima), sometimes a little combative herself, was having problems with her Muslim family (parents, cousins and other relatives) concerning her faith in Christ and other issues. So she and her now 14 year old daughter, Nageena, began to stay with the mother's sister a couple of blocks away. That family is also Muslim, but it was a more peaceful environment. Because it's a small home, having 3 adults and 3 teenage children, the sister and her husband wanted Karima and Nageena to have their own place. The decision was made to build a room onto the roof of their house where they can stay. RHM has also contributed to that with more than $1,500, family members and perhaps some from their church, contributing the rest. Please pray for Karima (who has come to Christ) and Nageena, who is going into "intermediate" studies (same as our 11th grade).

Attentive Boys

Being involved in children's ministry here in the US over the last 7 months or more, I can certainly see how Satan is working to harm the American child. Almost every time I try to share with a group of American children (whatever the setting), it is very difficult to get their focus or attention. It starts in the school and in the home; children (generally speaking) are greatly lacking discipline and respect for their elders. In India, often thought of as a "heathen" nation to those here in the west (largely because of poverty and idolatry), the children are still expected to be respectful and listen to their elders. In our meetings, I am not aware of any physical discipline being used, yet in general they listen. In larger groups of children, there is less control over the children, but in smaller groups like this, there is a much better chance to actually be able to teach them something of value for their lives. This is Bro. Raju having morning devotions with the boys when they took a trip to Vizag.
