Another Fruitful Meeting

This meeting took place in the city of Ponnur this last Saturday. We meet in this place 2 or 3 times a month on average, but this time Brother Raju brought several other children with him from Bapatla, one of our main towns of ministry. As you can see in the top photo, this home is not completed. A few years ago there were no walls at all (poor parents and 3 youth). Now the 2 girls and one boy are ages 20 to 26, but all still in the home, the 26 year old girl working as a teacher, the other two still in college. By His help we were able to help them build some walls and do some other work, so it's a better situation for them now. In the bottom photo, you can see all the precious children, several of them at least 20 years old now. The boy on the far left, Paul (17), asked Raju after this meeting to pray for him to stand as a strong witness for the Lord. Praise the Lord that He is working in many of their hearts!

Summer Gatherings

Sister Mary is sharing the Word with a group in a village a couple of weeks ago. We have 2 families we work with in this village, some neighbors also joining us sometimes in the meetings. On a weekly basis, Brother Raju or Marthababu and his wife are visiting these 2 families, less than 10 usually attending. We are thankful for these special opportunities, and trust the Holy Spirit is speaking to many hearts. Not sure, but there may be only one more excursion, and one more special gathering before many of the schools and colleges reopen in a few days. Continue to pray for the salvation and spiritual growth of our families and their neighbors.

Precious Sowmya Turns 20

In the top photo, Sowmya has a similar reaction as many others when the candle first lights up; it usually startles them, even though they know what's about to happen. She's one of 5 children, her 18 and 16 year old sisters, and her 14 and 12 year old brothers all in the lower photo, their mother to the left. Sowmya is now studying in degree college. Please pray for Sowmya, for her studies, her spiritual life, protection...and whatever else He leads you to pray for.

Extra Nutrition During the Summer Heat

This is Brother Marthababu giving some extra food to Paul and his mother during the summer heat. As we shared in the May update, the heat has been above normal temperatures this year, and some of those we're involved with are suffering. We decided to give extra food to our 5 HIV patients during this heat, two of the women on the bed for some time. I think both are doing a little better now, but are still weak. The extra nutrition definitely is useful for them. We're also assisting our 20 year old Mary, who has been weak, but now is getting stronger. Thank You Lord for Your healing touch, and for Your love and provision working through Your people to help the poor!

Sunday Meetings Continuing

The Sunday gatherings are continuing in a local church on Sunday afternoons. Most of the people go to their own churches on Sunday mornings, and then come to this meeting in the afternoon. RHM helps with transportation for those who are connected to this ministry. Below is Brother Raju leading the people in worship. Many other believers are now coming, but still between 1/3 to 1/2 of the people are adults or children being ministered to in some way through your donations. Please pray for spiritual growth and maturity.

A Failed Cataract Surgery

This is Brother Wesley, praying for one of our widows, Sister Valiab. Valiab had a cataract surgery, and it apparently was not successful. I have seen her in a video call since then, and she doesn't seem to be in pain, but she's still not able to see properly. Not sure of all the details, but we have paid a small amount to help her with ongoing treatment. She is the great grandmother to 4 children we know and visit sometimes. Only one of these children we are helping with education. Please pray for Valiab, a very sweet woman, always kind and a prayerful woman.
