Abhishek, the boy in the middle, surrounded by neighborhood friends, turned 12 in August. The name Abhishek is most commonly used in reference to Hindu rituals, but among Christians it is often used to describe the Lord's anointing upon a person. The Lord JESUS is referred to as Abhishiktudu in the Telugu Bible (which is the language most of our ministry people speak), which means "Anointed One". Abhishek's father died in an auto rickshaw accident in 2017. His grandfather died in 2022 from a stroke, leaving only Abhishek, his grandmother and mother living together. The grandmother cannot work due to health problems, but the mother goes to work in the agricultural fields. Please pray for this boy, that he will come to know our Savior.
