Deborah (8) and her brother Vijay Kumar (5) recently received new school bags from the ministry. Hard to believe the little guy is in school now, and he might not be very excited about it. These children are in a government (public) school, which usually begins with 1st grade, but they do have separate schools only for little ones, basically the equivalent of kindergarten. We are thankful that through your donations RHM has been able to assist 57 different students during the 2024-25 academic year at different levels. Because of financial limitations and the number of students, we are not assisting any children for more than $300 a year. The average support for those studying in private schools is more or less than $250 a year per child, while the average support for the govt children is less than that. There are a few of our children who need more than what we can give, but they know our limits, so the parent(s) or grandparent(s) are trying to manage the excess amount. Thank you to all who give!!!
