Brother Samuel on the left is the pastor of this group of widows and elderly (the younger woman sitting, Koteswari, is also a widow). Samuel has been focused on winning souls in this mostly Hindu town, which we call VV Palem, for many years. Many have gradually come to Christ. I have been with this brother on his small property many times since at least 2008. He stayed with his family (wife, 3 children, and then later grandchildren) in this church for many years until one of our donors helped him build a small house next to the church. Now 2 of his children are married and moved elsewhere, his wife passed in 2022, and he currently stays on this property with one of his sons, his daughter-in-law and their 2 teen children. Please pray for Brother Samuel, his family and ministry. The church is getting old and will eventually need to be torn down or somehow remodeled. They are trusting the Lord for every need, now and until the return of our Lord JESUS.
