His Work in Progress

These 3 girls just received some new Christmas clothes. From left, Nafiya, Nageena and Asiya are all cousins, having the same grandparents. All are from Muslim families, Nafiya's family living with the grandparents right next door to a church which our brother Prasanth and his Dad are pastoring. Nageena's mother came to the Lord and they are faithful to the prayers, while Asiya also comes regularly. Please pray for these girls and their families. There is tremendous pressure on these families from their community NOT to attend the church, but some do anyway. Most will not because they WILL be persecuted. Whatever the outcome, we continue to sow the seeds.

Happy Times

It's good to see the joy and laughter of our staff and widows. Brother Prasanth is giving a BIG blanket to Koteswaramma before Christmas. This sister, well into her 70's, also has a mother, Kotamma, who is part of our widows ministry. None of them know their accurate ages, being born in villages long before hospital records were dependable, but surely Kotamma is in her mid-90's or close to 100. Please remember our precious widows.

Only a few more days before 2025 comes to a close. If the Lord leads you to give an end of the year donation, it will help the India ministry as we move into a new year. Thank you!

Prayer for a Little Girl's Eye

This is 6 year old Lasya on a slide in a park we visited. A little crack in the slide won't stop these kids! Several days ago we asked you to pray for Lasya, now 9, who hurt her eye. Now we have a few more details: Lasya, a mischievous girl, was apparently playing with a knife. When her mother tried to take it away from her, somehow the knife hit her eye. The doctors say that 3 surgeries are needed (we know of one being completed). At this point she is blind in that eye. RHM helps her family (mother, Lasya and a little brother) with a small amount of cash each month, and helps Lasya with her education, now in the 3rd grade. We are only helping with a very small amount for the surgeries unless someone donates more; most likely they are taking loans. Please pray for little Lasya.

Cute Little Ones Getting New Gifts

For some of the children, what RHM gives them could be their only Christmas gifts (same on their birthday). For some children, it was that way before we became involved with them, but now their families also are giving something. Gift giving is simply not a way of life among many or most of the poor; it doesn't even come to their mind. The top photo is 9 year old Kavya, receiving 2 new dresses. The lower photo is Vijay Kumar (6) and his sister Deborah (9). They are all so precious! Continue praying for us as the end of 2025 comes near. Trusting the Lord for an outpouring, for His glory and purposes. 2 Corinthians 9:10-11, "Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God."

This Christmas a Little Better Than the Previous

In November 2024 these boys' Daddy was killed in an auto rickshaw accident. From a video taken after the incident, it seems that the rickshaw might have pulled up behind a parked semi-truck. The truck driver didn't know anyone was behind him, and backed up over the top of the rickshaw, killing some and injuring others. The boys are Vikram (6), Indra (10) and Karthik (9), in the photo receiving new blankets. Their mother, Bhavana, does different labor jobs when she's able. She's had some health issues since her husband died (she didn't work before his death). He apparently took some loans, so she is struggling. The family is staying with her husband's parents. Last year, some gracious donors gave $1,000 for this family, which we have used throughout this year to help them with food and basic needs. RHM also is helping the boys with their education. Our support (other than the education) will stop at the end of December. Please pray for Bhavana and her boys. If the Lord touches your heart in their behalf, please follow His leading...
