For some of the children, what RHM gives them could be their only Christmas gifts (same on their birthday). For some children, it was that way before we became involved with them, but now their families also are giving something. Gift giving is simply not a way of life among many or most of the poor; it doesn't even come to their mind. The top photo is 9 year old Kavya, receiving 2 new dresses.
