Pray for Shainy

Shiny and Pavani, one of our children's workers, are exchanging cake on Shainy's 15th birthday on June 13th. Shainy seems to be a very talented girl, especially intellectually, making very good grades in her school through the 10th grade. Because she is such a bright student, we don't know what will happen in the future with her studies. RHM cannot afford the colleges and universities with higher fees, so it's possible that another relative might try to sponsor her studies in future years. Her father died of Covid in 2021, so her mother has been working as a teacher, but with a low salary. Pray for Shainy, especially for her spiritual life. We're happy she does well in her studies, but as JESUS said, "What would it profit it a man if he were to gain the whole world, but lose his own soul?" Matthew 16:26

The Oil of Joy

We are pleasantly surprised when we see how the Lord is restoring some peace and joy to a person after they have experienced great tragedy in their lives. Thus it is when we see the smiles and laughter of Beulah (2nd from left in black dress), who lost her Daddy about 7 weeks ago, as well as having serious injuries in her own body from the accident. But we shouldn't be too surprised, as that is the ministry of JESUS. "To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness..." Isaiah 61:3

We can also be very happy at how the Lord used our children over a week ago, as well as Brother Raju and Sister Mary, when they visited Beulah's family. Eleven girls went with Raju, 9 of them girls we help with education and other ministry. In this photo are (from left) Prasanna, Divya, Shine and Nanditha. Please continue to pray for Beulah and her family, as well as praying that the Lord will help our children become useful vessels in His kingdom throughout their lives.

Thankful for His Healing Touch

As most of you know, our ministry friend/pastor named Puthra died in a motorcycle accident on May 1st. His daughter, Beulah, was on the bike with him (blinded by another vehicle's bright lights, they hit a tractor parked in the road). Beulah was in the hospital for some days, and it seems that she has broken her collarbone and needs surgery. Only recently has she been able to walk some. Brother Raju and Sister Mary took some girls to Puthra's area on June 9th, where his home and ministry are located. I'm very thankful how the Lord used them to minister His comfort to Beulah, as well as to Puthra's father, wife and son. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalms 147:3), and it seems very evident He has been doing that work in their hearts. Beulah's face seems to be healing well, she being the one on the cot dressed in black. She's a precious girl. Please keep this family in your prayers. We will be sharing more photos of this trip in the coming days.

Swarupa Turns 21

We don't usually stop celebrating the children's birthdays on our own; it's usually the child who will eventually decide they're too old for a cake. They might still desire the time of prayer, sharing the Word, singing and fellowship, even if they feel awkward to continue with the cake. Swarupa's name, according to the internet, "represents grace, beauty and authenticity." She loves the Lord, teaches the children in her church's Sunday School class, and has completed her 4 years of college, studying in the medical field. Your donations helped her with the last few years of her education. Pray for Swarupa's future, as she and her family are praying about what is next in her life.

Listening to His Word, Crying Out in Prayer

It's good to see youth intent on listening to GOD's Word (top photo), and equally as good to see some of the people crying out to Him in the lower photo. Especially that is refreshing for those who are working with us to minister to the people. In the top photo is Sister Mary sharing, but we also have Brothers Wesley, Raju and Marthababu, Raju & Marthababu's wives (both named Pavani), with Bro. Bhaskara Rao ministering to children in 5 different villages. Please continue to pray for this ministry in India, winning souls, and making disciples.
