Pray for This Elderly Couple

Moses and his wife, Samadhanamma (which means "peace") were recently kicked out of their home in the village of Nandayapalem by their son. They have another relative maybe a quarter mile or less down the road who let them build a small hut on her property. Already a weak structure, it's now leaking badly, now being the rainy season. We're planning to build them a sturdier hut with some cement columns, then put a tarp over it, so that it will last for several years (replacing the tarp each year). Samadhanamma is one of 3 elderly whom you are helping with paralysis medication through your giving (they have all had strokes). Please pray for this precious couple, Brother Wesley praying for her in the lower photo.

Ten Years Old!

Lasya turned 10 a week ago on the 11th. This is the girl who accidentally put a knife in her eye, and was blind in that eye for some time. The eye is better, but there's still the possibility that another surgery is needed. Her mother to the right, Roja, was abused for years by the father, who left and has not returned for at least 2 or 3 years now. Pray for Lasya, who currently has a fever. Her cousins, Pradeep and Navya (whom we also assist with education), live nearby and they also have fevers at this time. Another one of our boys, Karthik, also had a 104 fever as of this morning.

More Birthday Girls, More Souls

We're thankful for every opportunity the Lord's given us to minister to needy people. Oftentimes it's not so much physical need, but it's spiritual need. The two birthday girls demonstrate both. Kavya is the little one in the middle; left of her in the photo is Sandhya, who turned 23 on September 3rd. She's in her 3rd year of degree college; her family is very poor, her parents selling vegetables or whatever they can do to make money. Thankfully, the oldest girl in the home, Divya, is now working as a teacher, which brings in a little more income. In her family is much physical need, and much spiritual need. The girl to the right of Kavya in the photo is Bhavana, who turned 15 on September 6th. Her parents both work, and are able to provide a little more for their 2 children, but much spiritual need is there, the father not walking with the Lord. By His grace, we're helping Sandhya with education, but there's no need to help Bhavana. Brother Raju goes to their town to minister about 3 times a month. Please pray for these girls and their families.

Soniya's Family, and Her Calling

Soniya is to the right, with her 2 sisters, Divya (left) and Kavya. Their mother was physically abused by their father for a long time, she finally leaving him and returning to her native state where we do ministry. We first met them in 2021 when the girls were small, Soniya now 16. We have a few youth who have a desire to be in full-time ministry when they get a little older, but Soniya and one other girl seem to be strongest in that desire. For the last 3 years or so, Soniya has repeatedly expressed the longing to be a missionary of some sort. This is one of the mission goals of Right Hand Ministries, to be a financial channel for those youth and young adults who have these desires, whom we have invested into for many years. Please pray that the Lord will, by His grace and faithfulness, provide us with a greater abundance in order to fulfill this vision.

Jeevan & Yamuna

Jeevan turned 15 on September 1st, and his sister, Yamuna, turned 17 on the 5th, so we combined their birthdays. Actually, Yamuna we are not assisting in any way, but Jeevan we are assisting with his education (9th grade). Jeevan means "life", and I think Yamuna is the name of a river somewhere in India. We are thankful for both of them. Yamuna recently took baptism. Please pray for both Jeevan and Yamuna, that they will grow strong with the Lord. That is ALWAYS our highest priority.
