Good Education for Children

Twin girls Mary & Martha (Mary on the right) in their school uniforms. These girls are now in the 11th grade (called "1st year intermediate" in India) at an all girls high school. Their mother didn't know how she was going to be able to continue with the girls' education, their Daddy dying with Covid in 2020, and they didn't even have walls, flooring or electricity in their home. By our Father's amazing grace, many changes have taken place in their lives, and they have a real interest to draw near to the Lord. 

   Pray that the Lord will grant us more donors to help more children like Mary & Martha. With His help we will stay committed to all the children He puts into our care until they finish their education and/or are no longer in need. Pray for their salvation and usefulness in His kingdom, the most important things in all of our lives.

Pray for Akshaya and Our Children's Ministry

Pray for this girl, Akshaya, who turned 12 in December. Pray for the Lord's blessing, comfort and protection over her life. Her grandmother is with her, this photo taken when food was given to them earlier in 2021. Akshaya stays with her grandparents, her grandfather an alcoholic, not able to provide for the family because of his addiction (he rarely works). Her background story is really messed up, and it's better not to share all the sad details (especially if Akshaya were to ever read this post). But after her own father left the family, her mother remarried another man, with the agreement that this 2nd husband would not have any responsibility for Akshaya, although her brother is living with her mother and stepfather. A good opportunity for demons to try and destroy this child with rejection and bitterness, but our precious Lord is a redeeming GOD and can take the most broken circumstances and raise up a beautiful testimony. We have brothers and sisters who are reaching out to Akshaya, and are teaching her about Christ. Please pray for her and for the many other children (ages 2 to 22) we are ministering to.

This is actually part of a monthly meeting, inviting the children (and their parents/guardians) and elderly for a time of worship, prayer, hearing the Word, lunch and fellowship. For part of the time, the children are separated from the adults to have a meeting more especially geared toward them. Here, Esther & Arpana are teaching a Telugu action song to the children.

Are You Living With the Pigs?

Are you living with the pigs?  As you can see in the photo, this precious little one is living among the pigs. She is like the billions around the world, each one precious enough that our Creator would send His own Son to die on a Cross, taking the judgment which we so richly deserve. Why?? "For GOD has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord JESUS Christ, Who died for us, so that whether we are awake (still alive when He comes) or asleep (already dead), we will live together with Him." 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 

Why would the King of the universe care about this little girl? It's called LOVE, the same reason He wants to forgive every prodigal (wayward child) who's "living with the pigs" (read Luke 15:11-32). If we are living in sin, contrary to GOD's will for our lives, the Bible likens that to a "sow...wallowing in the mire (mud)" (read 2 Peter 2:22). Someone has put a religious necklace on this child, with the vain hope that some "god" will protect her from danger, but only the Lord JESUS can deliver us from the pig-life of sin, sadness and future judgment, and give us the hope of eternal life. As the prodigal "came to his senses" in Luke 15:17, thinking about his situation and where his life was headed, may we all turn to Him for mercy.

Precious Widows & Elderly

These elderly are from 3 different villages, but they all attend one church in a town called Karlapalem. They had just received new blankets in November. Six of the women are widows, sponsored by World Challenge via RHM. Three of the women: the one sitting (married, has paralysis), the 3rd from the left standing (has a sickness and unable to work), and the woman 2nd from the right (married, but has had multiple problems since being electrocuted more than 2 years ago), are all sponsored via RHM's widows & elderly fund. If you have a desire to give to RHM for the elderly, there's endless need, and always more that we would love to be able to help in Christ's Name. Just designate your gift for the elderly in some way. If you go to our RHM website donation page, there's an option called "Widows/Elderly Ministry" which you can donate to.

Promotion of a Precious Sister

We recently asked you to pray for a sister who was in critical condition. Unfortunately, we didn't catch her name, but have always known her as "Brother Jebaraj's mother". Yesterday (the 1st) she passed into eternity. Remember, it's only the body that dies. In the midst of our Lord JESUS' parable about Lazarus and the rich man, in Verse 25 He said, "but NOW HE IS COMFORTED" (speaking about Lazarus). That's why we can say with full confidence that when a Godly person passes from this earth, it is truly a promotion. Praise the Lord! 

This sister's husband (Jebaraj's Dad) was a pastor for many years, probably more then 40 or 50 years, and was promoted in late 2020. She was a Godly woman, serving the Lord alongside her husband for all those years. Please pray for a grieving family, friends and congregation. Below was the photos Bro. Jebaraj sent to me last night. "Amma" means "mother" in their Tamil language.
