Farewell to Amru

Amrutha has been helping with a group of children, giving them tuition (tutoring) and leading a Sunday School class for more than 2 years, mostly supported by RHM, with another ministry also paying part of her small monthly salary. She has found a new job in a different city, so has discontinued with the tuition and SS. Here she is with some children who made cards and gave some small gifts to Amru on her birthday in November '22. Please pray for her, that the Lord will continue to use her for His glory during this new season of her life.

Wall Construction for Widow

Below is Nagendramma, her husband dying in late 2020. Because of drinking, he hit his head twice and had paralysis. Before dying, he had taken large loans. When we met her, she was hopeless and depressed, not knowing how she could survive, pay the loans off and take care of 2 boys, at that time in the 9th and 2nd grades. The Lord has helped her in amazing ways, largely through your donations, and her countenance is completely different. Praise the Lord; He brings beauty from ashes! In this photo, she is standing in front of a wall which goes around her home for safety. The Lord used RHM widows' funds to build part of the wall.

New Boys in Need

Below are Samuel & Moses. Both are from Christian homes, but Samuel's father has backslidden and become an alcoholic, not caring for his family properly (wife, Samuel, a 7 year old sister, and an older boy). Moses has a little sister and Godly parents. His mother (Esther) recently had some violent seizures, which she hasn't had since childhood. She is slowly recovering. We recently started assisting both boys with their education. Please pray.

Birthday Boy & Girl

The top photo is little Kavya, who turned 7 on July 4th, and bottom is Pradeep (boy) and Navya giving cake to their cousin Eswanth, who turned 4, also on the 4th. We assist all these children and/or their families in some way. The two birthday children both come from abusive home backgrounds. Pray for their fathers' salvation.

House Visiting

Below is Bro. Raju and his wife (on cot) having "prayer" (typical word used when having any type of Christian service with singing, prayer and sharing the Word) in the verandah of a family where we visit regularly. We originally started visiting this home because of Akshaya, the 14 year old next to Pavani. RHM (your donations) is helping Akshaya with meds (possible epilepsy) and food. Thankfully, when we go to their home the mother, other daughter and some neighbors are also joining our prayer. Please pray for Akshaya and His anointing upon the children's ministry.

Abandoned

Brother Hanock (a pastor who is assisting us in ministry) is giving medications to Sister Ratna Kumari, another Sister Vasantha waiting. Both women were abandoned by their husbands years ago. Ratna Kumari has 2 older children, one son who recently finished his engineering studies, and a daughter who is now in the 12th grade. Vasantha has 3 grown children, all married, and stays with her son. He has his own family, and is limited in how much he can help his mother. The 2 daughters, as is common in India, do not have control over the finances, and their husbands are not interested in helping their mother-in-law. We have several women whom we help who have been abandoned by their husbands, or were kicked out of their homes for different reasons, some for becoming Christians.
"Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will take care of me." Psalms 27:10

RHM July Update

We're a little behind, so didn't get an email update out in June. We'll try to do better about getting the info out more regularly, but life is BUSY, as many of you know. But praise GOD, we're not busy with worldly or sinful things, but being about the Father's business. Please take time to look over the update, which includes so many good reports and prayer requests. Remember, if the Lord has put an interest within your heart for the ministry which is taking place in India, you can stay more connected via this Blog on the RHM website. We try to get out at least 20 blog posts a month, letting you know what's happening in the various aspects of the ministry here. Bless you.
Below is Sister Pavani and some children (we had 14 children with us that day) having breakfast before getting onto our 2nd bus in route to an excursion.
