We asked you in our last post to pray for Swarupa. After her leg and arm began having problems, an MRI revealed she has a blood clot on her brain. The doctors are asking them to go to a specialty hospital in the city of Guntur (50 or so miles from her village). The cost is a little over $100 per day for the room and, according to the doctor who took the MRI, another $100 per day for medication. Because of the risk of a surgery, they are wanting to try meds first for several days or longer.
They are a poor family and cannot afford these expenses. Swarupa (21) and her parents are believing God for a miracle. She's at a local hospital (with a supposedly reputable doctor), who's giving medication to try and break up the blood clot. I don't know the expenses at this time, but pray for the Lord's healing touch on this precious girl. I've known her since she was little (she attended a school I was working with); she and her parents are prayerful people, and seem to be very faithful. Stand with us, as we appeal to our gracious Lord for a miracle! Below is Swarupa on her birthday in June, and at the hospital.
