Pray for Pavani

Pavani (left) is here sharing with some children in the small home where our girls Soniya (13), Divya (10) and Kavya (7) live, their mother also in the photo. Pavani is Brother Raju's wife, both of them together leading the children's ministry. Pray for Pavani, who is now into her 8th month of pregnancy, the baby due in early June. She loves to be with the children and participate in the ministry, so she comes whenever she is able. We praise the Lord for her devotion to the Lord, and to the children and their families.

Pray for This Elderly Man

Brother Wesley (standing) is praying for Bro. Abraham, one of the elderly in our widows & elderly ministry (his wife also standing). Abraham hasn't been feeling well, and has been on the bed for some time. Please pray for him. We praise the Lord that He continues to provide for our precious widows and elderly!

Pray for This Boy Hit by a Motorcycle

If you follow our ministry in India very much, you might have noticed that motorcycle accidents are fairly common. Most vehicles are motorcycles, and most of those driving them don't know how to drive them properly! Below, Brother Raju is sharing with Sai after he got hit by a motorcycle. Sai had gone to the "petrol bunk" (gas station) to get some gas for a neighbor's scooter, which he was driving. After he got the fuel and was returning to the neighbor's home, a motorcycle hit him and knocked him to the ground. And as we often see, the motorcycle driver didn't stop, but took off. Another person saw him and brought him to his home. His grandmother then took him to the hospital, where he got bandaged up. Please pray for Sai, who will be 14 in June. He has been running from the Lord for quite a while now. We had him in 9th grade, but he finally dropped out. Only GOD knows how many hundreds of hours Raju and others have spent with Sai, sharing the love and truth of Christ with him. He comes somewhat regularly to the meetings, but needs revelation within his heart. Please pray for his healing, protection and salvation.

Showing a JESUS Film on Good Friday

One pastor friend is sharing with adults & children during the showing of a "JESUS Film" on Good Friday, March 29th. Your Christmas donations helped us to buy a new projector, screen and stand, for which we are very grateful. Watching our Savior live, suffer and die on the Cross certainly will resonate in the minds of the people. "For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of GOD." 1 Corinthians 1:18

Sai Bhavya's Birthday and Need

Sai Bhavya's grandmother, Arunamma, is giving her cake on Bhavya's 13th birthday at the end of March. Sai Bhavya's mother took her own life when she was 2 months old, the father dying a few years later with cancer. Arunamma has kept Bhavya since she was a baby, but had a stroke about one year ago and is weaker than she was before. She is wanting to put her granddaughter in a hostel somewhere, thinking she would get better care. A "hostel" is a place where many people in India send their children (primarily during the school year), and the hostel, whether govt or privately owned, will care for the child's food, medications and other basic needs, and put them in a nearby school. Because most hostels are often not a good environment for the children, we are encouraging Sister Arunamma to keep Sai Bhavya with her or with us. We have a Godly woman (maybe 35-40) who has given her life for children's ministry, and would like to keep these kind of needy children with her. But it will involve finding a small rental home and providing the expenses for Bhavya. There's one other 11 year old girl in a similar situation. Please pray about the care of these children, and for the Lord's blessing upon Sai Bhavya.

Mythilly's 11th Birthday!

Mythilli (middle girl, pronounced like "mightily", but with th) turned 11 on March 27th. She was very happy that we celebrated her birthday. We sponsor the education of her 2 sisters, Nanditha (left, 8th grade) and Nandini (9th), but are not sponsoring Mythilli at this time. Their parents are alive, her Daddy one of the men who helps us with his auto rickshaw to transport children and adults to some of our meetings. Please pray for Mythilli and her 2 sisters.
