Wisdom Needed in How to Pray

The sister below, Swarupa, is the mother of 2 children who attend our meetings, a teenage boy and girl. The boy, Sai (14), we have helped for a couple of years with education & medical needs. Swarupa is known to have mental impairment, but has a history of suddenly doing strange things. A couple of years ago or more she disappeared for a year or so, no one knowing where she was. When the children were small she would suddenly become angry and violent, seemingly without cause. Two or 3 days ago she again became very angry and doing strange things. Finally some believers were able to pray for her and she calmed down. For many months now she has been faithfully coming to some of our meetings with her mother, and a few months ago took baptism. She seems to have a heart to learn and change, but these things unexpectedly happen. Please pray for the Lord's wisdom in regard to how to help her, whether she needs deliverance, a change in medication or what. The photo was taken after the most recent episode, which caused her to sleep for some time.

Pray for Brother Jebaraj

Brother Jebaraj is our ministry friend who lives in Chennai. He has helped us many times over the last 27 years or so with receiving visitors at the airport when they come to India, oftentimes keeping them in his home with his family, taking to the train station, etc. He also has 4 widows in his church that RHM is currently assisting. He went for a jog, slipped and fell, and broke his wrist. Please pray for his quick recovery and total healing.

A Mythilli Girl!

No one seems to know where Mythilli's name comes from, so we suspect it might be a misspelling of "mightily" (Mythilli is pronounced like Mightily). Whatever the case, she's a nice girl, turning 14 in late February. Raju and Pavani (our children's ministry leaders) are with her, along with their baby, Keren (Job's 3rd daughter in Job 42:14). The person with the camera was trying to get Keren's attention, but she only had her mind on that cake! Mythilli is in the 7th grade. RHM is helping her 2 older sisters with education, and her father (an auto rickshaw driver) is paying for Mythilli's. Please pray for Mythilli.

One of Our Families

These are the children of our sister Jayasri, who lost her husband over a year ago. She and the children seem to be doing well, the mother working now as a teacher at a school. The children are all in school, the 2 oldest girls in college. From left, the girls are Sreeya (10th grade), Sowmya (1st year degree college) and Suma (2nd year "inter", which is similar to 12th grade in America). The boys are Pavan (7th) and Danny (5th). Please pray for these precious children.

The Passing of One of Our Widows

Sister Chinamma (on the cot) passed away yesterday. Her son and daughter-in-law are near her. She had 4 children, but none of the other 3 making much effort to care for her after she had a stroke and paralysis a few years ago. She has been living with this son for the last few years. Your donations have been providing some food for this family since 2022. Please pray for the Lord's comfort for this family.
