Help Us Bless the Widows This Christmas

These are widows & elderly in VV Palem receiving new blankets. Only the Lord knows to what extent we can continue helping the widows and elderly in 2026. But we do want to continue blessing them with a new dress or new sweater or blanket (depends on the amount of funds we have) during this year's Christmas Project.

Sweet 16!

Nandini turned 16 in early October (we have MANY birthdays in October). Her Daddy works as an auto rickshaw driver, and the mother doesn't work. RHM helps Nandini and her younger sister, Nanditha, with education, while the Daddy pays all the fees for the youngest girl, Mythilli. A precious family, these girls well worth the $300 or less (per child) to try and give them a decent education. The Daddy also helps us many times, using his rickshaw to transport our children, family members and elderly to meetings. Here, Marthababu and his wife, Pavani, are with Nandini. This couple helps us with the children's ministry. Please pray for Nandini.

More Birthday Children

Some might think of the birthdays as boring or uneventful. But it's part of the love of JESUS that draws the hearts of the people to us, which in turn opens their hearts up more to the Word, encouragement, correction, warnings, counsel, etc. the Lord would lead us to speak into their lives. "Discipleship" that doesn't include speaking into the person's life isn't real discipleship. Just like a parent loves their child (not only with feelings, but also with direction), we also have much love for the people. Below is Yesubabu and Kumari, a couple whom we have helped in the past, with Prem Kumari (girl on left, who turned 12 a week ago) and her cousin Arpana, who turned 15 over a week ago. Sadly, being from a poor village, the adults don't see the value of education, so Arpana has stopped, even though she is very intelligent. Prem Kumari is deaf, and has too much fear to attend school. Please pray for these precious girls.

I had a little accident, so was thinking not to send out a newsletter this month, but the Lord has provided me with some strength and time to do a quick one. Pray for me, but more importantly, pray for this precious India ministry. It's becoming more and more problematic to try and do ministry there, but so many precious souls are there, more than 3 times the population of the US, but only about 1/3 the size of the US.

Blessy the Blessing!

Blessy turned 23 in late September, her grandmother, Salome, giving the cake. Salome is one of our widows, a precious saint. We are assisting Blessy with her education, she planning to be a lab technician. Please pray for Blessy.

Hip Surgery for One of Our Widows

Lakshmamma is one of our widows, also a member in Brother Wesley's congregation. She has been such a blessing and help to one of our other elderly women, Vijaya Lakshmi, who had broken her leg some time back. Lakshmamma broke her hip a few months ago. For lack of funds, they tried some kind of bandage treatment, but it didn't help her. So Wesley raised some money from his church members, and also Lakshmamma borrowed some money from relatives, and she had hip surgery about 10 days ago. Please pray for this sweet sister.
