"Learn to do good, seek justice, rebuke the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow." Isaiah 1:17
Who will actually do these last 2 things, and how many are doing it? This is Dan with RHM. With all I know to do, with His help I am trying to do these things. Not very talented at it, and often not knowing what to do, but doing my part. I request our readers to also pray, and ask the Lord if you also should have a part in "defending the fatherless" and/or "pleading for the widow". Maybe not something that will make you popular or get you any income, but it will surely bring eternal rewards from our heavenly Father. "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you." Matthew 6:3-4 This principle would surely apply to those who are defending and pleading as well, whether in prayer, with friends, family, or however the Lord might lead you.
