Her name is Shine (now 14), but actually pronounce as Shine-e. No doubt the mother wanted her name to be Shiny, but didn't know the correct spelling. I can remember the first time I met her, when she was only 11 in early 2023. Probably it was Brother Raju and I who were visiting another family, when Shine came up to me, asking us to help her, because her father (an alcoholic who later that year died in a tractor accident), was not taking care of the family. No commitments were made, but she was introduced to the ministry, and started participating in various prayer meetings. She has a tender heart for the Lord. After the father died, we did start helping her with education (she's starting the 10th grade in June). The mother is unstable, but there seems to be other relatives (including grandparents) to make sure Shine isn't going hungry. Please pray for Shine, and for the spiritual stability of her mother, and salvation of her older brother.
