Chandramma is a widow I've known since about 2014, and who's been part of our widows & elderly ministry since at least 2018. In the top photo Brother Raju and I were there to visit her home, which is hers, having lived there for many years. When she dies the plan is that the home will go to her son, but he is concerned (for no reason) that his mother will try to give the home and property to his sister, Suvartha, who has been living with her mother since about 2020, when her husband abandoned her and her 2 children, Deborah and Vijay Kumar. The son is using that excuse to drive his mother and the family off of the property. We are currently looking for a place for them to stay in the town of Bapatla, and after talking with Raju this morning, it seems that we have found a place. Please pray for Chandramma, her daughter Suvartha (who works in the agricultural fields when work is available) and the two children. Usually Suvartha can go to work with other villagers, and she is safe. Raju is inquiring about where she can find work in town, since it might not be safe for a single woman to travel to/fro the fields outside of town. We are planning to give them some extra food and help until they can become settled.
