The top photo is Veni (17) sharing with one of the elderly (I think they're both widows in each photo) in the village of VV Palem. The Lord has definitely used the brokenness of Veni's life to bring more of His compassion into her heart for others. I recently asked her to try and smile more in some of the photos, and she immediately responded that it is difficult to smile with all the problems in her family. She's not a pretender, but a sincere girl. The lower photo is Sirisha (20) sitting with another elderly woman. Sirisha also has a tender heart for the Lord, and is a more serious-minded girl, not silly or foolish in her behavior. We're very thankful for what the Lord is doing in the hearts of our precious young people. Please continue to pray for them.
