RHM May Update

RHM May Update, Those On His Right Hand

The Lord is so good! Please take some time to look at the latest update from the ministry in India. Many prayer requests are in the update, as well as praise reports. "Those On His Right Hand" comes from Matthew 25:34, also explained in the update. Bless you!

After having a service in the church behind them, this crowd moved onto an excursion at the beach. A little more about this inside the update.

Doing Well, Needing Wisdom

Preethi (left, soon to be 19) and Pinky (17) with their mother, Sister Radha. They lost their Daddy in a motorcycle accident in early 2020, and we have been connected with them since that time. Your donations are helping the girls with their education, Preethi in her 1st year of nursing and Pinky starting the 12th grade in June. We're also helping with some food and with some monthly support, as Radha is on our widows list. Please pray for this family, and for all of our families. The Lord has used us to come alongside them and help them, as well as teach them more about JESUS. But if the parents or grandparents do not have spiritual maturity, they can once again fall into debts, bringing their family into trouble again. We pray about all these matters and trust the Lord to guide us.

Helping Needy Families

Below is Sister Roja with her 2 children, Lasya (girl, 8) and Eswanth (maybe 5 or 6). Roja's husband (the children's father) has been terribly abusive to Roja, beating her and threatening to kill her also. He has abandoned the home many times, will be gone for months, only to come back again for a short time to torment them, then leaves again. At this time he is not in the home, so there is some peace. Roja didn't know the Lord a few years ago, but the Lord has used His people (through RHM and the local church) to reach her heart. Please pray for the deliverance and salvation of her husband, protection over Roja and the children, and their continued spiritual growth. RHM (your donations) is helping this family with monthly food, and helping Lasya with her education.

House Gatherings During Summer Holidays

Most of the children we minister to are on summer holidays, although a few are still having college these days. May and early June is typically the hottest time of the year in this part of India on the southeast coast, the temperatures usually above 95-100, sometimes above 110. We use the holidays as an opportunity to gather the children in different places or take them on some excursions. In the photo below Brother Raju and Sister Mary (3rd from left) took 12 girls to the city of Chilakaluripeta (Peta for short) where Jyothi lives. Jyothi is the 4th from the left, her parents on each side of the photo. The father has some health problems and can't work, and the mother is limited on how much she can work, needing to take care of her husband and Pavani (20), the girl sitting with the short hair who has some mental impairment. Jyothi is doing well; your donations are helping her with her education, and helping her family with food each month. Please pray for Jyothi's family and these house gatherings (fellowship, singing, praying, sharing the Word, and having meals together).

Sharing JESUS With Poor Villagers

Happy to see Brother Wesley's son, Sunny, sharing the Word with people in the village of Anandapuram ("village of joy"). Wesley helps us with the widows ministry in his area, but also goes to this village each Sunday evening to do ministry. He mostly spent his own money to construct this small church, RHM only helping with a small amount. Many in this village are very poor, cutting down trees, fishing and doing whatever they can to make some income. Sunny works a computer software job in another city of India, but helps his Dad with ministry when he has opportunity to visit his home. Please pray for the ministry in this village.

Hit By a Motorcycle

Sister Sunitha (middle in photo) and her 2 children, Srujan (boy now 16) and Shainy (girl soon to be 14), were added to our children's ministry in 2021 after the Daddy passed from Covid. Sadly, today Sunitha was hit by a motorcycle while crossing a road on foot. One of her legs was broken, and she suffered a serious head injury as well. As of this morning she was not able to talk. Please pray for our precious Sister. Already the children lost their Daddy, and surely they are now fearful about their mother. In the photo with Sunitha are 2 of our children's workers, both named Pavani, one the wife of Brother Raju, the other the wife of Brother Marthababu.
