Trusting the Lord for FRUIT

Our Lord JESUS taught the people the parable we commonly refer to as "The Sower and the Seed". If you have noticed, you know that He is referring to 4 different kinds of HEARTS. All 4 of these hearts belong to people who are hearing the Word of GOD, whether in a church, online or through some other means (and could include reading the Bible). The problem is, only one of these hearts actually "holds fast" to the Word and brings forth fruit in their life, fruit meaning that the Seed of His Word is actually accomplishing something good, something righteous within the heart of that believer. In this ministry, we have multitudes of meetings and opportunities to spread the Seed (sharing His Word). The sad reality is that not everyone (in any scenario) has a tender heart ("good soil") to receive His Word and actually do something with it. Our prayer is that ALL of those we're ministering to will ultimately come to love Him, repent of their sins, put their faith in Christ, and bear much fruit for His glory in their lives. Please pray with us for that! Below is Brother Raju sharing with a precious group in the city of Ponnur. Although in another area than our main area of ministry, he tries to visit this place at least 3 times a month.

Happy Birthday Girls!!

July 10th was the birth date of these 2 girls, Divya (left, 11) and Yasaswi (12). Manu & Kavya (from a Hindu family) are giving cake to Divya, and Hashma (from a Muslim family) is giving cake to Yasaswi. We love the beauty from ashes stories behind the smiles. Because of abuse, Divya's mother left the father in another state, and came to our area of ministry in Andhra Pradesh. Yasaswi's father died of liver damage in 2023 due to drinking. The mother (previously a Hindu) has come to the Lord, but struggled to care for Yasaswi and her son after their father died. Divya and Yasaswi are 2 of 5 girls staying with Sister Mary in a rented home next to a church they all attend. Please pray for Divya and Yasaswi.

A Widow and Her Broken Family

This widow is Sathyavathi, in her 70's. Her husband died about 2006; she has 1 son. This one son has a corrupt mind, and was recently in jail, suspected of being part of a murder. He's also been involved in some trafficking of children. He's now out of jail, but is not much in the home, and doesn't provide for the family. He has a wife, Pavani, a son, Sathish (10, whom we help with education), and his mother in the same home. Sathyavathi has not been able to work for years because of various health problems, and Pavani has a serious back problem. She makes some income through tailoring. Please pray for this family. Widows often need help in their old age, and we would like to help as many as possible who are truly in need. If you have a friend or family member who cares about the plight of the widow, please direct them to our donation page. It is a great investment into the Heart of GOD!

Vijay Babu's 10th Birthday!

Vijay Babu is being given cake by his grandparents when he turned 10 earlier this month. He's a nice boy, living in a poor village called Chilakala Colony ("colony of parrots", although the parrots migrate and are usually not in this village nowadays). When Vijay Babu was a small baby his father left the family after he and the mother were quarreling. The mother then committed suicide with rat poisoning, leaving Vijay Babu and his 2 year old sister, Prem Kumari, with their grandparents to care for them. The father never returned. We are very thankful for these grandparents, as they have worked hard to care for these children all their young lives. They have mostly worked in the agricultural fields, or overseeing shrimp or fish ponds (like security). Only these grandparents work, but there are also the great grandparents and another aunt in the home, the aunt having mental problems. So there's 7 in the home altogether. Please pray for Vijay Babu.

Praying With the Elderly

Brother Samuel (far right, the pastor in this church) is praying for the widows & elderly when Bro. Wesley (next to Samuel) came to visit them recently. Wesley tries at least twice a month to visit each of the 6 or 7 villages where we have elderly people your donations are assisting. All of the villages, including this one in VV Palem, are at least a one hour journey from his hometown of Singarayakonda. He also has some elderly in his own home church (he's the pastor). Altogether, there are 38 elderly that he is involved with. We have a total of 93 elderly in different locations in India, most of them within 100 miles of each other. Continue to pray for our widows & elderly ministry. Surely it is precious to our Lord.
