RHM November Update

RHM November Update, The Dear Lamb of God

Please take some time to read the latest update from RHM. In this update we discuss our Christmas Project, end of the year giving, and share at least one critical prayer request, along with other prayer requests. We thank the Lord so much for those of you who have an interest in this precious ministry to those half way around the world. What did our Lord JESUS say? "When you do it to the least of these My brethren, you've done it unto Me." Matthew 25:40

Below is Paul, whom we are asking you to pray for.

Blessings to Poojitha

Poojitha turned 14 recently, she being the teenage girl in the photo. She's one of 11 or 12 children, her mother to the left one of 2 wives to her father. Poojitha's family is from a more primitive tribe, and having 2 wives isn't that strange. We don't know the actual birthday of Poojitha or any of her brothers, 3 of her 4 brothers in the photo, so we have chosen November 10th as Poojitha's birthday, only guessing that she might be 14. She has been very interested in the Sunday School and church meetings (the church only about 100 feet from their hut) for several years now. Please pray for Poojitha, as she already is old enough for marriage in their culture. If she's suddenly taken away from our ministry influence, we hope and pray that she will be truly born again and a follower of JESUS when that happens. Most of these tribal people are indifferent to any type of religion. They mostly claim to be Hindus, but they aren't devoted to that either. A few of their tribe near the church have come to the Lord, for which we are very thankful. The 2 mothers haven't come to the Lord yet, either spiritually blind or fearful of their husband's beatings if they come to the church. Yes, a sad situation.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We may not be able to give any more ministry info until the 28th or 29th after this post. We wish a Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Truly, we have so much to be thankful for, if our eyes are open to it. If you can't think of anything else because of your troubles, remember the Father's great love for every human being. Remember how much our Lord JESUS suffered on the Cross. Why? He took my (and your) punishment, the punishment that we deserved for our sins against Him. He did nothing wrong, but His great love made a way so that we can be forgiven. Truly, "No greater love has any one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13

Thankful for This Precious Family

This is a family whom I've known for years, the girls since they were very small, and the boys for a few years now. They all were part of a children's home in India that I also was a part of for many years. I'm thankful that our ministry (the Lord's ministry) has been able to stay in touch with them. RHM does NOT support any of these children, but we hope we can continue to have a positive influence in their lives. The boy in the middle, Emmanuel, turned 18 in late October, so Brother Raju went to their home to visit. The 3 girls are sisters (parents are alive), while the 2 boys are their cousins whose mother died some years back, so they all live together. The other children (some of you might recognize them) from left are Anand, Iswarya, Suvarna and Kranthi. Please pray for this precious family, especially that they will remain faithful for the Lord.

Good Students

Navya (left, 13, 9th grade) and Shainy (14, 10th grade) are 2 of our best students as far as making good grades. No doubt they are good in obedience and good character also. Please pray for Navya, Shainy and all our 50+ children whom we're assisting with education.

The Lonely Widow

Deuteronomy 14:28-29 “At the end of every third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year and store it up within your gates. And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the Lord your GOD may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.”

We can see in these Scriptures that the Lord, our Creator, has compassion for the widow and the poor. He made a way in the Old Covenant for the needy and helpless to be cared for in Israel. Under the New Covenant, He doesn't have set commands to care for the needy among His people except for the "royal law" to "love your neighbor as yourself". Why will we always have the poor among us, even in the Church? Because this royal law of love is so little practiced among His people.

Below is Poleramma, one of our widows. Her husband was blind, and had a heart for Christ. Poleramma would bring him to the church (before he passed in early 2020), just so that he could be in church and be encouraged, even though she didn't have the same desire. After he died, she has continued to come, and seems to be doing better with the Lord. Please continue to pray for our widows & elderly ministry.
