RHM September Update

RHM September Update

Yes, we will keep on loving them, regardless of declining funds, whether or not I am there or not. The Lord JESUS is still there, and He loves them passionately! So we carry on. Praise the Lord! Please keep us in prayer.

Below are our 5 precious girls who are staying with Sister Mary in a rented home. They are very special to us.

Birthdays Girls!

The birthday girls are Bhavana (left, 14) and Sandhya (22), both having birthdays in early September. Brother Raju (right) and his wife Pavani brought the other 6 girls from another town to be part of the prayer and birthday celebration. We always have a time of prayer, singing, sharing the Word, and more prayer before doing the cake and photos. RHM is helping Sandhya with her education, and her family with a small amount of support, as they are poor. We are not assisting Bhavana or her family, but she and Sandhya are cousins, living next door to each other for perhaps their entire lives. There's 4 families, all relatives, who usually gather together when Raju comes to their area about 3 times a month to visit and for prayer. Please pray for Sandhya (in degree college) and Bhavana (9th or 10th grade).

Making Young Disciples

A friend once said about some children we were working with, "The Lord is making them into world changers." And we do ask the Lord for this very thing. Wherever we are living, that is our "world" at the time, and Christ is trying to teach us, mold us, and use us to impact the world around us. Below, Marthababu is teaching a group of our children in a church in Karlapalem. Nine of these children RHM (through your donations) is ministering to regularly and helping with education. The other 4 are from a Hindu family living in a little hut about 100 feet from this church. Pray for His blessing upon this precious ministry.

May We Never Forget Them

A beautiful Scripture is in Psalms 9:18 that so proclaims the Heart of our Father toward the needy and the widow. "For the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever."  It seems that most of us, including potential donors, are more easily struck with compassion and pity for the poor little child who is suffering. Somehow, our heart is stirred when we see that little one in need. But the widow who is in need? Not so much. We know that we are supposed to care, but truly caring is hard to come by. We must have HIS Heart in order to feel His pain. I wonder how much He must grieve over the lack of true concern for so many of His children (whether in big bodies or small) who are suffering around the world. We thank GOD that, though in this world the needy are often forgotten, yet one glorious Day their suffering will come to an end. Hallelujah! Below are Chandraiah and his wife, Thirupamma, after receiving Christmas clothes in 2024. Chandraiah's body died only a couple of weeks after this photo was taken, and Thirupamma also passed not long after that. This photo is found in the RHM Photo Gallery, where you can see hundreds of photos from the ministry over the last several years.

Scripture Competition for the Youth

Brother Raju and Sister Mary (both standing) and watching the children/youth as they write their Scripture exam toward the end of August. Hope to have the results for you soon. We long to see ALL the youth with a hunger for GOD's Word, which will surely lead them to His blessing and eternal life.

The RHM Website

Visit our website at https://rhmorphansandwidows.com/ to better understand what we are doing through this ministry in India. Every child, family member and elderly person is precious to the Lord, and we rejoice in the opportunity He has given us to be part of His great love for them! Below is our home page photo, a young brother and sister outside their hut, perhaps in the village of Vaddesangam.
