Deepa (far right) turned 20 on October 20th. RHM is helping with the annual fees of these 3 girls in their nursing college, all from the state of Orissa in India. Sibani (left, 22) has a father, but the mother died when she was a baby. The father has 2 wives and other children, so has had less concern about this girl up to now. Leya (middle, 23) is Deepa's sister. Leya and Deepa's parents are both living, but the mother is in bad health. Their father was one of 7 men falsely accused with killing a Hindu monk in 2008, and they all spent 11 years in jail before being released in 2019. India's Supreme Court ruled that there really wasn't sufficient evidence against them, but it took 11 years to get that ruling! Their father is trying to run a business, but struggles with also trying to help his 5 children and extended family. Please pray for these girls, especially for Deepa.
