No, they are not gender-confused, but this is the custom for many of the men in the villages and towns of India (perhaps less in the cities). It's considered cooler in the hot climate. This is Brother Laban, his son, and a widow named Vazramma. Laban is a pastor whom we have been connected with in ministry for several years now through the widows & elderly ministry. One of our widows (part of his congregation) just passed away a couple of days ago, her name Kondamma. Now we only have 2 elderly in Laban's village (because of the long name, we call it Jampala SC), both widows. One is Vazramma, and the other is a young widow, Salome, who has 2 boys, her husband dying with some kind of terrible skin disease. Please pray for their ministry in this village. Brother Wesley has faithfully gone to this village for years, more than a one hour journey from his own home.
