The 2 children on the left, Sudha Rani and Samuel, both turned 13 in late December. Obviously they were having a cake fight, which is always fun for the children (sometimes the adults also getting involved). The girl on the right is Ribca (Telugu for Rebecca), Samuel's sister. All these children are from a poor village. Your donations are helping Samuel with his education, and we were helping Sudha Rani, but she is very shy (fearful) around new people, so we didn't try to force her. Now she has already quit school completely. She stays with her grandparents because the mother remarried and the stepfather isn't willing to care for her (sadly common with remarriages in India). Please say a prayer for these precious children, especially for their spiritual lives.
