The meeting below, held in Martha and Mary's home (twin girls seated to the right), is typical of so many of our house gatherings. The home is only a bedroom and kitchen (unless they added something after I left), with the bathroom outside. No room in the kitchen (backside of the photo), so they're in the bedroom/living room, probably 200 square feet or less. A bed on the right, a table of some sort on the left, an armoire in the corner, and no doubt other items around the room, so they sit in the midst of it all. No problem for them, because that's what they are totally accustomed to, and what those doing the ministry (in this case Brother Raju) are also accustomed to. But as the Lord said, if 2 or 3 are gathered together in His Name, He is there in our midst (Matthew 18:20). Songs, sharing a message, prayer, fellowship...all of it is done in these tiny spaces, and our Lord JESUS is at work in their hearts. Hallelujah!
