As we also see in America, it seems that sickness and disease is running rampant everywhere. We recently learned that we now have 10 people with HIV whom we work with in ministry regularly (7 adults and 3 children). We already knew about 5 (4 adults and 1 child), but recently learned about 5 more who were possibly too ashamed or shy to tell us. Two days ago we asked you to pray for a 13 year old girl, Abhinaya, who had dengue fever. Praise the Lord that she is better, her blood platelet count back to normal, and she is back home! The boy in his uniform below is Arun, 14 and studying in the 8th grade (he actually has a nice smile when he uses it). He now has typhoid fever, which is not usually very dangerous, but sometimes can become so. The girl below is Sowmya, 18 and now studying in her 1st year of engineering college. Please pray for Arun and Sowmya.
