Pavani (Raju's wife) is holding her baby, with girls from left Leya, Deepa and Sibani. These 3 girls we knew previously from a girls home RHM was involved with in the state of Odisha. Surprisingly, we learned 2 or 3 years ago that Leya was studying in a nursing college not far from our area of ministry. A year later her sister, Deepa, came to the same college, and then a year later Sibani came. We (through your donations) have helped each girl with about $280 per year while in their studies. Leya is now working in Hyderabad, and Deepa just started working there. Sibani still has at least one year to study. The girls want to return to Odisha, closer to their families, but the wages are lower there. So for now, Leya is continuing to work in Hyderabad. Deepa is in Hyderabad because she must work in a hospital for a few months to pay for her remaining college fees (our support was only about half of what they need). We are thankful that your donations are helping poor children get a better education so that, Lord willing, they can get better jobs. Please pray for these girls.
