Venkata Lakshmi (right, 11 years old) is using her home-made stethoscope to check Sister Lakshmi's heart rate. Of course it's a toy, but impressive that she made this herself. We're so thankful for this girl, who lost both her parents when she was very young, and has spent most of her life in hostels and with neighbors. Now she's happy in our girls home with 4 other girls. They're living in a rented home, our Sister Mary watching over them. Lakshmi is one of our widows, and is helping out in the girls home by washing vessels and clothes. Please pray for Lakshmi and the girls home.
