NEW HUT FOR WIDOW in the village of SR Colony. Vimalamma's husband died in September or October of last year, only a few months back. So she has some sadness in her heart. We're thankful that we were able to provide her a new roof (leaves, some of the frame, labor) via our widows & elderly ministry this month. Pray for Vimalamma.

Building and Repairing Huts/houses for the widows and elderly. What a blessing to know that we (the donors/sponsors, the intercessors, those involved hands-on, everyone who's a part of RHM and His love for the poor) are fulfilling the desires of His Heart. "When you've done it to the least of these My brethren, you've done unto Me." Matthew 25:40

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. Brother Russel's birthday is January 1st, but the HOPE staff & children like to honor him whenever he comes to visit, which is usually in late January or early February. HOPE combined Russel with all the children who had birthdays in January and February, so it was a big celebration. As we've shared with you on the Blog, Sudha Rani (13), Sunil (17), Hepsiba (11) and Iswarya (13) all had birthdays in January, while boys Simha and Moses have birthdays coming in February.
   In this photo, Russel is receiving "greetings" (hand-written birthday cards) from all the HOPE boys.

Happy to have our Brother Russel with us. Russel is from Oklahoma (USA), having visited HOPE many times. This time he brought his son Sam, who hasn't been in India since he was 2 years old. Here Russel and Sam are at HOPE for their first night, being greeted by HOPE girl Rizwana (11).
