PRAY FOR NAVEEN, who turned 12 yesterday, May 25th. We don't know his actual birthday because his mother doesn't know and doesn't have documentation. He came to HOPE on May 25, 2011, so that date was given. Here Brother Peter, who stays with the boys along with his wife, is saying some nice things about Naveen during a birthday function at the HOPE Boys Home. He's going into 6th grade when school starts again in June.

PRAY FOR RIZWANA, HOPE girl who turned 12 on the 16th of this month. She's the middle child in the photo and a very nice girl, ready to enter into the 6th grade. She has some health problems, so please pray for that also.

PRAY FOR JEAN JOY (violet dress), who turned 19 today, the 15th. (Left to right) Sudha Rani, Suvarna and Kumari are with her. Jean Joy is a blessing to HOPE in many ways. She's currently the oldest child in HOPE, and has just completed her 2nd year in engineering college, studying to be a civil engineer.

PRAY FOR ANUSHA, who turned 9 yesterday, the 14th. She's the little one in the yellow dress, the other girls (left to right) Aksha, Nithya and Dhana showing their birthday greetings. Anusha is a sweet girl, sometimes demonstrating with tears a tender heart toward the Lord.

A Nice Time in CBC (Children's Bible Club, similar to Vacation Bible School). This is Brother Bhaskara Rao, who led the CBC program for 3 days in Karlapalem (Prasanth at right is a pastor in this church, along with his Dad). The HOPE girls also did a wonderful job in leading in songs and action songs, teaching about 4 or more new songs.
   Bhaskara Rao is encouraging HOPE boy Gopi (11), a shy and affectionate boy. I wasn't clear why the medal in the Brother's hand was given to Gopi, but I think he was chosen for the best behavior in the CBC. Pray for Gopi, who had a pencil or stick put in his eye when very small (before coming to HOPE), and so he is blind in his left eye. I am deeply saddened by the comments and jokes which he endures about his eye.
