Click onto the above link to see a nice video of the private school being painted where we are planning to put about 23 of our children that we are involved with, grades nursery thru 10th. RHM contributed the money for the painting, while the school administration is doing some other works to make the school more functional and attractive. We are not running the school, but have a good relationship with the principal; he also has compassion for the poor children and is giving us a good discount for each child. The school is requiring from us about $200 a year for each child, which includes fees, books and transportation. We may need to pay another $80 or so per child for additional materials and uniforms. Pray for the Lord's blessing upon this school.

Another Birthday Girl!

Kumari, the girl left of Bro. Dan, turned 19 on June 3rd. RHM doesn't give any assistance to Kumari's own family, but we have known her for years, and are helping 2 small children in her village (Kumari's cousins). We also sponsor some of the children's Sunday School classes in this village. The Lord used your donations to make it possible for Kumari and her husband Yesubabu (far right) to have a nice wedding in 2020, as well as build them a room onto his parents' house (the room that is behind this group). Pray for Kumari, including her health. She has some female problems which might be hindering her from getting pregnant. 

 

 

He is Our Refuge!

"The LORD also will be a Refuge for the oppressed, a Refuge in times of trouble." Psalms 9:9

This precious 11 year old girl, Sudha Rani, is a good example of many of the children's backgrounds whom we help in various ways (your donations through RHM). She was abandoned by both parents, left with her grandparents. And even now, there is rejection because she's part of the "step-family". That is the world we live in: SICK. But the Lord truly is a "Refuge in times of trouble", and He has led us to help her with her education and whatever other needs she might have. Praise the Lord! Please pray for our ministry team, which is going out with the love of Christ to bring hope and healing to hurting lives. 

 

 

                                                                                                                         

Visiting Nagarjuna Sagar Dam

Visiting Nagarjuna Sagar Dam: 

Click onto the above link to see the nice trip with 30 children and 10 elders to Hyderabad. Here we on the way to Hyderabad. In this video we are entering into the Nagarjuna sagar and came to visit Nagarjuna Sagar Dam. It is a masonry dam across the Krishna River at Nagarjuna Sagar which straddles the border between Telangana and  Andhra Pradesh.

Happy Birthday Kethan!

Kethan (the boy) turned 15 on May 20th. He is with his parents and his sister Shiny (16). Both children are doing very well in their education, Shiny getting over 90% in her 11th grade finals (in India they call it 1st year intermediate), and Kethan usually around 95% or more throughout the year (he just finished 10th grade). Their Daddy has some health problems, so hasn't worked for at least 14 years. Their mother, Sister Esther, is a teacher, struggling to care for the family with her small salary. RHM (the Lord through us and your donations) is helping the family when necessary with their daily needs, and helping the children with their education. Please pray for Kethan; he's a very nice boy, with a sincere love for the Lord.

 

 

Farewell

Had a nice group to see Bro. Dan off at the Chirala train station. The following morning he left India, now back in the US. Precious memories until the Lord makes a way again!

 

 

Assisting Families

Below are 2 new families we have began assisting, members of Brother Abraham's congregation. Abraham was ran out of one area of his town by a mob of unbelievers, and is now renting another apartment to hold services. These 2 families have great needs, the husband, wife and 2 girls in front having a wild testimony which includes homosexuality and prostitution. The daughter whom the Dad has his hand on is mentally impaired, but a very happy girl most of the time. The younger girl (Jyothi, next to the mother) has so much love for her older sister Pavani; it's nice to see.

   The mother and 3 children in the back are another example of the Father's great love for those in need. The boy and one of the girls are twins (13), and the older girl, Anna, 14 or 15. The father left the family when the twins were babies, and cast some kind of "black magic" (demons) on the family. The mother, her brothers and the 3 children all became insane over the years, Anna cutting herself and not eating properly (still very thin). Somehow the Lord led this family to a service conducted by Abraham, who prayed for them. Over the course of about 6 months they have found the Lord and His deliverance. Praise the Lord! 

   RHM (through your donations and His leading) is now giving food to these families, and planning to help the children with education needs. Because of their backgrounds, the children have not had much stability in their home or education. Pray for the Lord's continued mercy and favor upon these 2 families.

Happy Birthday Sameera!

Brother Benjamin giving cake to Sameera, who turned 11 on May 16th. Sameera is from a Muslim background and began coming to the church a few months ago. She is the first one in her immediate family who is seeking the Lord. Bro. Benjamin's wife on the right (he is pastor of this church) is the main person witnessing to this child in the neighborhood, so Sameera began attending the Sunday School, the church about 100 yards from her home. Her mother is now beginning to attend through Sameera's persistent urging. She's a spiritually-minded girl, wanting to talk about the Bible, JESUS and the prayer meetings more than talking about other things. Pray for Sameera, especially that she will continue her pursuit of GOD. Already the Lord has used her to help other children come regularly to prayers (Sunday School and church services).

Pray for This Hurting Widow

Pray for Sarojini, one of our widows. She hurt her neck, so needs healing. But more than that, she lives with her son's family. Her son is mentally impaired and sometimes violent. Because of his behavior (and believing the lies of hopelessness from the devil), his wife committed suicide. Not long afterward, he forced his young teenage daughter into marriage, and now she is crying, as she is not being treated well by her new husband's family. She also is feeling very hopeless. This son has another son of his own, who obviously needs some proper guidance in his life. Please pray for Sarojini, her son's deliverance, hope in JESUS for the teenage bride, and for the young boy. Pray for Bro. Wesley, Sarojini's pastor (and one of our co-workers), as he tries to minister into these situations.

Happy Birthday Sonia!

The girl on the right is Sonia, her little sister Divya on the left. In the photo they are on a bus, as we were able to take 30 children on a tour to the big city of Hyderabad in May, seeing the zoo, a couple of museums, doing some other activities and having some great devotions and bonding time during the 4 day trip. Sonia turned 12 on the 5th of May. She has 2 little sisters. Their Daddy was daily abusive to their mother, so she finally left him and returned to the state where we do most of our ministry. We're now helping the 3 girls with education and whatever else they need. We recently helped them with clothing also. We praise the Lord for this precious family, and using us to minister into their lives. Please pray for Sonia, who has a tender heart for the Lord.

Pray for Married Life

Aswini (bride) married Rajesh on May 27th. Most all of Aswini's relatives are Hindus. For about 2 years they have been compelling her to marry a Hindu. They arranged matches for her, but she would not consent. At one point, some of her relatives told her directly, "If you marry a Christian, you no longer have a family." Through much hardship and many tears, the Lord has helped her until she finally married Rajesh, who is a Christian. Aswini didn't know if any of her relatives would attend her wedding. But by His grace many of her relatives attended the wedding (a long journey from another state). The man on the right is one of her uncles. Pray for Rajesh and Aswini, that they will keep Christ as the center of their home, and for His blessing upon them.

Pray for Our Tailoring Shop's Success

These women (except the woman on the far right) are all working in our tailoring shop called 'Tabitha Ladies Tailoring'. The sister on the right is currently teaching the shop employees a new skill called "maggom" work and tailoring, which helps the women add various designs to the material. 

We believe the Lord put this tailoring shop upon our hearts, and are trusting in the Lord's favor upon it. The sister on the left, Bujji, is managing the shop, and all the other 6 women were trained in 2020-21 to do tailoring. All of these women (4 of them single mothers) are in need, and the shop has been a great blessing for them. RHM has committed to carry the financial load of the shop for the first 6 months it is operating (it started in February of this year), hoping in the Lord that it will be able to stand on its own by the end of that 6 months, which concludes at the end of July. 

So far it is doing well, but not getting the needed business in order for it to keep going. Pray with us, that the Lord will show Himself strong in behalf of these precious young women.

Pray for This Sister (a widow)

Pray for Koteswari from VV Palem. She is about 37 and has an 18 year old daughter. Her husband died of AIDS (final stage of HIV), and Koteswari also has HIV, but is doing okay physically at this time. She and the girl live with her parents, and she sells limes in the market (a low income job). She will likely be single the rest of her life because of the HIV. Even if the Lord did a healing miracle, it would be another miracle for a 37 year old widow to get remarried in the India culture. Just this month RHM started helping her daughter with her college education. Please pray for Koteswari and her girl.

Hope in the Midst of Despair

Two photos, one showing the previous condition of this family's "house" in early May, and the 2nd showing the progress of construction at the end of May.

The parents, both still living, had already made poor decisions, leaving their family of 5 (sometimes the grandparents also staying with them) without a proper home. We struggled about how much the Lord would want us to help them, and since Covid began the father has now developed diabetes and other health problems. For the sake of the 3 children (aged 22, 18 and 16, whom the Lord has us assisting with education), we decided to invest about $1,400 to make some improvements in their living conditions. That's not enough to finish the walls, but at least it will provide some safety from the rats and snakes. They are still in the process of adding more bricks to the walls, so we're hopeful more than half the walls will be completed. Pray for this family, especially for the children (Divya, Sandhya, Abraham).

 

The Gospel Team

These 4 girls make up the "Gospel team". When recently in India, many times these girls would join us as we would go to visit people's homes or attend prayers in various places. From left to right: Nageena (12), Nafiya (8), Sameera (11), Poojitha (8). The first 3 girls are from Muslim backgrounds, Poojitha a tribal girl (one of 11 children). All 4 girls have unique family dynamics, most of their relatives without Christ. They loved to come with us whenever we were able to take them. May the Lord raise them up to touch many lives!

Wonderful Children's Meeting!

Sister Mary teaching the children in our monthly gathering of those whom the Lord has us assisting in various ways. More than 60 children attended this meeting under the trees (the adults and older youth inside the church), teaching them new songs and sharing little teachings to impart truth to their hearts. Mary has given her life to do ministry, and the Lord has opened new doors for her within the last several months. She regularly is with the children in Sunday School ministry, and giving tutoring to many children in her neighborhood. As He has opened these doors, we have seen a great change in her countenance.
