Thankful for new Blankets

Thankful to be able to distribute some new blankets to the elderly. These are widows & elderly from the village of Thunagunta, their pastor, Nazareiah (Nazareth in English), standing with them. As with most every village, RHM sponsors some of them, World Challenge sponsors some (channeling their support thru RHM). But WC is providing all the blankets. We praise GOD for our connection with that ministry, which has perhaps tripled our ability to reach out to these precious people.

LAST BIRTHDAY FOR A FEW DAYS. This little one is SRUTHI, who turned 8 on the 21st. Sruthi loves affection and wants to be held as much as possible. She's a very bright and energetic girl. Even at a very young age, she sings very nicely, and is near the top in her class. Now studying in the 2nd grade.

PRAY FOR HOPE's VISWA (middle girl in photo), who turned 11 yesterday on the 19th. A sweet girl who seems to be growing in her desires to be good and a good example for others; a tough task in the midst of 28 girls in a home, some of whom don't have those deeper desires...YET. Now studying in the 6th grade. With her are 7th grade girls Sravanthi, Iswarya & Subhashini (blue & yellow school uniforms) and Suvarna (9th grader).

BIRTHDAYS, BIRTHDAYS! From August 20 to September 21, there are 10 birthdays at HOPE, so the children are getting lots of chocolates, which they like! Below is Dhana, who turned 9 on the 17th, just a couple of days ago. She asked for a police car as a birthday gift, but we couldn't find. I think she's happy with her new doll. A nice girl, but still needing some healing in her heart. Now in the 2nd grade. Please pray for Dhana (pronounced like Donna).

ANOTHER BIRTHDAY GIRL AT HOPE, THIS TIME YAMUNA (left), Iswarya sharing some nice things about her. Yamuna turned 10 on the 5th of this month, and is now studying in the 4th grade. She's a very nice girl. Please pray for her.

PRAY FOR HOPE's CHARITY (3rd girl from left), a girl with many talents, especially the "gift of gab". Charity (birth name Thirupathamma, named after a Hindu god) is the kind of girl who will surely impact many people's lives. Question is, will it be a good impact, or a bad one? 😳 Pray for her salvation, for her character, studies, protection, etc. She's a nice girl, but needs His touch in her life, as we all do. Now studying in the 3rd grade.

PRAY FOR JEEVAN, who turned 8 on September 1. He came to HOPE in 2016, now studying in the 2nd grade. A very cute boy. Pray for his studies, his health, and especially his spiritual life. His older sister, Yamuna, is in the girls home. 

Ruthamma's Testimony:
Click onto the above link to see Ruthamma's Testimony. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior from Hindus family. Her husband left her because she accepted Jesus. But God is with her. She had been in a lot of troubles and sickness since she was doing the prayer. God heard her prayers, opened doors for her. Now both RHM and World Challenge (whom we're partnered with in this widows & elderly ministry) are helping her. Praise God! Pray for her.

PRAY FOR HOPE'S ANGEL (2nd from left), who turned 16 on September 1st, one of 3 HOPE children having birthdays that day. Angel (her birth name Ayesha) is a precious girl. She is very helpful to Sister Buelah, and has a tender heart with smaller children. Hopeful the Lord will do great things in her life.

PRAY FOR HOPE GIRL SRAVANI (far right, pink dress), who turned 12 on August 28th. Sravani's a nice girl, coming from a poor tribal family. Sometimes she is sad because she wants to be with her own family, but the Lord always comforts her. Now studying in the 5th grade.

Manimma's Testimony:
Click onto the above link to see Manimma's Testimony, Brother Prasanth translating for her. She suffers from paralysis. God touched her heart. Now she is coming to church regularly. God has brought much healing to her. Now she is able to lift-up her hands to praise our God. Praise the Lord! Because her medical costs are more, both RHM and World Challenge (whom we're partnered with in this widows & elderly ministry) are helping her. She is very thankful. Pray for her.

PRAY FOR AKSHA, the cutie on the drum. She turned 9 on August 23rd, now studying in the 2nd grade. She's a talented little girl, singing nicely, acting well in skits, studying well. Sravani has the microphone, and 2 other HOPE girls, Veni (left) and Keerthana, along with Aksha wanted to do a song with the play instruments they received on their birthdays.

HOPE's KEERTHANA (right in red dress) turned 11 on August 20th. She has a very friendly character with a beautiful smile. Here, Viswa (also 11) is giving a "greeting" (sharing some things about Keerthana, and expressing her desire for good things to happen in her life) during Keerthana's birthday function at HOPE. "Keerthana" is the Telugu word for "psalm". Now studying in the 5th grade. Please pray for her.

PRAY FOR HOPE's SRAVANI, 3rd girl from the right. She turned 11 years old on July 27th. We like to get your prayers for all the HOPE children, but sometimes are forgetting. She's now studying in the 6th grade.
