BELOW IS A PRAYER FOR OUR CHILDREN. Look up the Scriptures if you have opportunity, and see the promises the Lord makes in regard to our children, His Covenant promises toward those who love Him. Not only for our children, but our grandchildren...and whatever other children He may have placed within your care or heart.
PRAYER TO OUR FATHER IN BEHALF OF OUR CHILDREN (DESCENDANTS):
“Father,
I’m trusting in Your Words, to circumcise
my heart and the heart of my descendants, so that we will love you with all our
heart and soul 1...that my
descendants will inherit the land 2…that my descendants will never beg for bread, but will be a blessing 3…that
my descendants
will be established before You 4…that my descendants
will be mighty on earth 5…that my children are a gift of the LORD, a reward from
Your Hand 6…that my children will be like olive plants around
my table 7…that the descendants of the righteous will be delivered 8…and that my
children will have a refuge. 9
You
said that as I walk in integrity before you, how blessed are my sons [and
daughters] after
me 10…that when they are old they
will not depart from Your ways 11…that You will pour out Your Spirit on my
offspring and Your blessing on my descendants, that this one will say, 'I am
the LORD's' and another will write
on his hand, 'Belonging to the LORD.’ 12
You said
that all my children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of my children 13...that Your Spirit which is upon me, and Your
Words which You have put in my mouth shall not depart from my mouth, nor from the mouth of my offspring, nor
from the mouth of my offspring's offspring from now and forevermore 14…that
my offspring will be known among the
nations, because they are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed 15…and
that I
will not labor in vain, nor bear children
for calamity, for they are the offspring of those blessed by the LORD, and their descendants also. 16
You said that my work will be rewarded, and that my children will return to their own inheritance provided for them in
Christ 17...that You will
give me one heart and one way, that I may
fear You always, for my own good and for the good of my children after me 18…and that in the last days You will
pour out Your Spirit on all mankind, and that my sons and daughters would
prophesy 19…that the gift and promise of the Holy Spirit is
for me and my children and for all who are far off. 20
You said
that You
would restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers
(parents) 21, and that my children have angels
in heaven who continually see the face of my Father who is in heaven 22…and that if I believe
in the Lord JESUS, that I will be saved, both I and my household 23...and that if
my offspring would honor their parents, it will go well with them. 24
Father,
I’m not demanding anything from Your Hand, but simply am reminding You of the promises
which You have given for those who love You, and am trusting You to do what you
have promised to do within the lives of our descendants, for Your glory alone,
and as a testimony of Your faithfulness to Your children. In JESUS’ Name, Amen.
