LOSS OF THIS PRECIOUS GIRL

SAD LOSS OF THIS PRECIOUS GIRL. Earlier this month we asked you to pray for Megana (in the wheelchair). She was suffering with severe difficulty to breathe, and coughing very much. Just yesterday her body died at her father's home. She was part of Brother Hanock's girls home, but had gone to her father's house during school holidays. 
   Megana had a severe curvature of the spine from birth, in addition to other internal problems which greatly affected her lungs. Please pray for Hanock's children's home, and for Megana's family. Many are very sad & mourning the sudden loss of this child.

Iswarya Birthday!

PRAY FOR HOPE GIRL ISWARYA (left in photo), who turned 14 on January 21st. Here her older sister, Suvarna (15), is sharing some things about Iswarya during her birthday function. In their Telugu language, Suvarna means "gold", and Iswarya means "wealth". May that come to pass in a spiritual sense in their lives. Iswarya studies very well (now in 7th grade), sings very well, and has a heart for JESUS. Please pray for her.

Krupamma, part of our elderly ministry, was in her 3-wheel cycle and was hit by a
motorcycle, making her fall onto the ground (both of her legs have been amputated
above the knees). Her poor husband is talking with others as they wait for an
ambulance. Now she is doing better (story in newsletter).

Hepsiba Birthday

HOPE's HEPSIBA, who had her 11th birthday on January 20th. Hepsiba's now studying in the 5th grade. Pray for her spiritual life, for her studies, protection, her own biological family (mother is a believer, the father comes and goes from the home), and her future. She's a very nice and sensitive girl. 

SUDHA RANI birthday

PRAY FOR SUDHA RANI, who turned 14 on January 17th. She's now studying in the 9th class, and has been in HOPE since she was 4 years old. Here, Chandrika (11) is sharing some nice things about Sudha Rani during her birthday celebration. Sudha Rani  (which means "nectar queen") is a friendly and multi-talented girl. Pray that, by GOD's grace, she can get through these years of youthful desires and worldly attractions. If she will put Him first in her life, she will surely touch many hearts for Christ JESUS.

PRAY FOR AUNT DEENAMMA

PRAY FOR AUNT DEENAMMA. Here, HOPE girl Rizwana (12) is giving some new clothes to Sister Deenamma (most everyone around HOPE calls here "Ammani"; don't know the meaning). She has been working at HOPE for a few years now, and is Sister Buelah's aunt. Don't know her real age, but surely she is well into her 70's. She has good character and a servant's heart. Please pray for her.

PRAY FOR VENKAYAMMA

PRAY FOR VENKAYAMMA. Brother Emmanuel is giving her a new dress at Christmas time; she is part of the HOPE Manna Program, which has about 16 widows, and 2 women who never married. Financial help for the HMP ministry is always welcome (and needed). Venkayamma has a big lump on her throat, causing her pain. We're praying for a miracle in her life. Father, deliver us from unbelief, and guide our hearts into the position so you can use us more in the realm of spiritual gifts, healing, and bringing more souls unto Christ!

PRAY FOR MEGANA

PRAY FOR MEGANA, the girl in the wheelchair. Only guessing her age at perhaps 12 or 13. Her spine is very crooked, and she's totally unable to walk, or even sit up straight. She's part of Brother Hanock's girls home in Bapatla (same town that the HOPE girls home and school is in). During this winter season, which is a little cool with much fog at night and in the early mornings, Megana has been struggling greatly with asthma, breathing and coughing. She also had a fever last week. She had to be taken to the hospital yesterday. Please pray for her as she comes to mind. A sweet girl, with lots of people (especially children) around her who seem to like her and want to help care for her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jeeva! HOPE's Jeeva (left) turned 9 on the 28th of December. Here in the photo, Simha (12) is wishing Jeeva a happy birthday. Pray for the HOPE boys, that the Lord will capture their hearts for His glory! Jeeva is a very active boy, who at only 7 years old decided he'd like to see what it's like to jump over the wall of the 2nd floor of the boys home, about a 15 foot jump! The Lord's continually watched over this little guy, protecting him (and others), and we praise Him for that.
