PRAY FOR SRAVANTHI, 15 on June 20th.

Sravanthi, second from the right, stays at the HOPE Girls Home during the school year. During the Corona lockdown, she's been with her mother. Whenever school starts again, she will be studying in the 8th grade. A very gentle and shy girl, but has a very rare quality for a female: she doesn't talk much. 😊

Please pray for Sravanthi.

PRAY FOR THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!

PRAY FOR THE BIRTHDAY GIRL! The girl with the flowers in her hand is Sibani, who turned 18 on the 21st of this month. She's a very nice girl, having a heart for the Lord, ready to enter her 2nd year of "intermediate" (equivalent to 12th grade in the USA) when the Corona issues FINALLY ease up so schools can reopen. These 7 girls are part of a girls home in a more volatile area of India. When you give online to "Helping Persecuted Christians", this is one of the ministries those donations may support. Please take a minute to pray for Sibani.

Pray for JOY

PRAY FOR 12 YEAR OLD JOY. Joy, sitting with her father (a pastor) and her mother, has had severe diabetes, taking 3 insulin injections a day for more than one year. Twice in the last year she's been in the hospital in critical condition. This photo was taken today; she just came out of the hospital 2 nights ago. For some days they were not able to get her blood sugar levels under control, and she spent some time in ICU. Now she's her happy self again. PTL! This has more and more become the leading of the Holy Spirit for RHM general funds: helping to meet the needs of those in emergency situations. Pray for the "overflow" so that we can be that part of His Body which is reaching out to those in brokenness and great need.

Tribal people

Pray for this new village outreach. These are ST villagers (scheduled tribe within the India "caste" system) in Karlapalem. Like many tribal people, they live a very simple life, often migrating from place to place looking for work. Seems they are often disinterested in spiritual matters. Perhaps they identify themselves as Hindus, but they are usually not very devoted to their religion. Through the food distributions in April and May, a door was opened up to demonstrate the love of Christ to their lives. Pray for these weekly meetings in their little roadside village. A good church is nearby, and some are attending.

Widows & elderly ministry

Ready to Move In? Probably not, but this is all that many of those in our widows & elderly ministry have to live in. This is Samrajyamma's hut in the village of Hanamantha Rao. By His grace, Samrajyamma now has a new roof on her house. We should be putting some more grass and one or 2 large tarps on the roof soon (an annual addition to all the new huts or repairs for the elderly homes) to keep it from leaking, and to preserve it.

New Hut for Yesumma

New Hut for Yesumma, one of the elderly in RHM's Widows & Elderly ministry. Yesumma, well into her 70's, if not 80's, and her husband were in a difficult situation, as their hut had collapsed. She was staying on the verandah (porch) of her son's home, and her husband was sleeping under a small part of the hut that had not yet collapsed completely. Thank GOD for His provision via the W & E ministry!
