Simha's Birthday!

Simha, the boy on the left, turned 14 on February 7th. "Simha" means lion in their Telugu language. He is with his little brother, Gani, and mother. The boys stay at a hostel most of the time, and seem to be doing well. Simha is now studying in the 7th grade, but the schools in their state of India have been shut down because of the rapid increase of Covid in India these days. Pray for Simha; he's a nice boy with a tender heart for the Lord. Last time we talked with him, he was asking us to pray about his baptism. Trusting the Lord to do great things in his life. Pray for his mother, who is often sick and weak. 

Bye, Joy, Until We Meet Again!

Below is little Joy. Her parents are seeing her for the last time here on earth, John (right, a pastor) and Dayamani beside him. All we can do is weep when seeing the photos and videos from her funeral, so much brokenness among her relatives. But one Day, hallelujah, every tear will be wiped away, and there will be no more sin, death, sorrow, pain, hate, etc. We long for that Day!

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 
¹³  "But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
¹⁴  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
¹⁵  For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
¹⁶  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

Joy Has Fallen Asleep in JESUS:   We have asked you to pray many times for Joy, a 13 year old diabetic (type 1), who also was diagnosed with TB and pneumonia within the last 2 months. Joy went into a coma early Sunday, and her body passed away this morning (Monday). In this video Joy's father is speaking (click onto above link). Please pray for her parents, her Dad a pastor, John, and her mother's name is Dayamani. She was their only child. Such a sweet girl, who will be sorely missed. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalms 34:18

Bhavya's Birthday

Bhavya Sri is another child whom RHM is helping with food, clothes and education. A very sweet girl, she turned 8 on January 12th. Both her parents died with AIDS when she was a baby. She now lives with her grandmother, Subba Lakshmi, here giving Bhavya a piece of cake on her birthday. Subba Lakshmi is on our widows & elderly list, receiving monthly support and medical help when needed. Please pray for Bhavya, now in the 3rd grade.

Today, April 15th, was a very special day for a young lady we have been acquainted with since she was 5 years old. Teja had her 24th birthday today, and got married on the same day! PRAY for Yesu Meri

We have forgotten to add birthday posts to the blog, so you can pray for these children. So we're going back to the beginning of 2021, and make posts of the children RHM is currently involved with who have already had birthdays. Below is Yesu Meri (8) in her school uniform, now studying in the 2nd grade. She has a 5 year old sister, Sukanya. Their mother died shortly after Sukanya was born. The Dad then abandoned the home and got married to another woman. At some point (not sure when) the grandfather also abandoned their grandmother. Now, the great grandmother, grandmother, these 2 girls and a young uncle stay in an asbestos shed with tarps on the walls. We're so thankful to be able to help these little girls with their education, food and whatever else they need. The great grandmother is part of our widows & elderly ministry. Yesu Meri was born on January 1. Please pray for her.

Praise the Lord for a Healthy Baby

We had asked you to pray for this girl, only about 15 years old. Her husband died in an electrical accident. She already had a 1 year old boy, and was 7 months pregnant when her husband died. She and her husband's family (whom she is still staying with) are all Hindu. She delivered this baby boy during her 8th month of pregnancy, and it didn't look very hopeful that the boy was going to survive, being in the hospital for about one month. Thanks to our Father, the baby gained strength and is now at home. Pray for this family; this girl, Venkata Ramana, her mother-in-law and other relatives are now attending some prayers inquiring about our Lord JESUS.

Happy Birthday Aswini!

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Aswini, who turned 26 today (although she claims 25). Aswini was in the HOPE children's home most of her childhood, then spent about 4 years in nursing college, and then worked for 2 years in a hospital. She's now found a good job, a contract job with the government, but perhaps thousands of young people who have started these jobs over the last several months still have not been paid! The officials say not to worry, it's not corruption, but normal. In other words, it IS corruption, whatever their reason for the delay. Please pray. She's a precious girl; pray for her walk with GOD, His blessing on her life, and protection from many non-Christian pressures from her family members.

Profile of a Broken Family

The 2 boys in the photo are Jone (12)  & Jaison (7), along with their mother, Nagendramma.  This poor mother was married to a man or older boy when she was only 11 or 12 yrs old. She was not able to have a baby, but after being married 22 years had Jone. Then little Jaison came along 5 years later. PTL! Her husband was an alcoholic, beating his wife. One time he fell, hit his head and got paralysis. Some time later, he again fell, but this time died (October of last year). A few years ago he had taken large loans to build a nice house. Before his paralysis, with both husband & wife working, they were paying them back. After his death, she fell into depression and hopelessness, and hasn’t paid anything on the loans. Not sure we can do anything about her loans (about $4,500), but we’re helping with food, the boys’ education and whatever other needs this family has at this time.
