Happy Birthday Preethi!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PREETHI, who completed her 15th year today, the 28th.
We are so thankful to have Preethi and her family as a part of our lives (her mother is giving cake to Preethi in the photo below). Beginning in early 2020, we've been able to assist their family through a very difficult time in their lives. Our Father has truly made some of our RHM brothers to become as part of their family. Preethi also had some braces put on her teeth in 2020, and that seems to have been very successful. She's going into the 10th grade, perhaps starting online classes soon (if they haven't already started). Please pray for Sister Radha and her daughters, Preethi and Pinky.

Pray for Kethan

May 20th was Kethan's birthday, turning 14 years old (Brother Raju giving him cake). Kethan is soon to start online classes for the 9th grade, mostly a straight A student. RHM is assisting him and his 15 year old sister Shiny with their education, paying for their books and fees. The Dad has had a mental breakdown, not working for over 13 years. Their mother is a teacher in a private school, but is not working during the Covid lockdowns. Once classes resume again, she should have her job again, but it is not sufficient to care for her family. She also has arthritis, and struggles to go to the job daily, plus doing most of the work at home also. Please pray for Kethan and his family.

Prayer for a Little Girl

Pray for little Prem Kumari ("daughter of love", 7 years old). Last week she got a deep cut near her right ankle. Not sure, but probably she was playing when she got cut by a sharp bamboo stick. Her grandmother is applying medicine (Prem Kumari's mother killed herself, and her Dad left the family when she was about 2). Pray for her about another issue also, as she does not talk. We're really not sure why that is, as she can hear, and she can make sounds (laugh, cry out loud, etc.). The Covid situation hindered our plans to take her to a speech therapist, and now we are just praying, believing that the Lord is going to do a miracle in her little life.

Critical Prayer Need

Below is Sugunamma and her husband from the village of Alluru. Sugunamma has been part of our widows & elderly program for a few years now. Her husband used to work as a bicycle repairman, but because of poor eyesight hasn't been able to work much in recent years. Within the last month, both of them came down with Covid. Sugunamma has fully recovered, but while in the process of recovering her husband has developed what they are calling "black fungus", medically known as mucormycetes. Without proper treatment and medication, the mortality rate is very high. We don't know his current status, but this man needs a miracle from our miracle-working GOD. He also needs salvation, the most important need in all of our lives before our bodies die. Please pray for Sugunamma and her husband.

Help for Another Hurting Family

We are SO THANKFUL for the Father's love toward the poor, AND for allowing us to be a part of that great love ("us" meaning those who pray, who donate, who distribute, who do the printing...EVERY person involved). Below is a woman named Shivangi with her twin daughters, about 15 years old and in the 10th grade. Brother Hanock had just given them some food to help them during this tough time in their life, as Shivangi's husband died recently of Covid. The girls are still studying, and Shivangi was in an electrical accident in 2017, so hasn't been able to work very much since that time. THESE are the kind of people the Lord is leading us to assist, not only financially, but hopefully to be a part of the healing process in their lives. The most important thing is wanting to bring them closer to Him and His purpose for their lives. Please pray for this family.

Happy Birthday Shiny!

Here, Shiny is giving some cake to her brother Srujan. Shiny turned 10 on June 13th.

Actually, it's good to see some happiness in their lives, as their father died of Covid about 2 months ago. These 2 children, their mother, and grandmother (their Dad's mother) have had so much sadness. They were also left with many financial problems, which they didn't know anything about. The Lord is using your donations to help bring them out of a very hopeless situation (their father was a teacher, the only one working in their family). Please pray for little Shiny and her family.

Covid Relief to Hurting Families

In the photo is Bro. Wesley's son, Sunny. Sunny has finished his college, but now not able to pursue any more training or job opportunities until the Covid lockdowns reduce. He is very helpful to his Dad in ministry, both going to the people, but also with the administrative work (sending photos, record keeping, etc.). Here, Sunny is giving some Covid relief to one sister in the village of Valetipadu, she and her husband struggling during this season of Covid outbreak in India. They have no children.

Covid Relief to the Villages

In the photo is Brother Wesley with rice and other food materials on his motorcycle, getting ready to go to villages called Valetipadu and Pakala. This is part of the Covid Relief Project which World Challenge is sponsoring via RHM (they give the funds; we carry out the project to those in need, but it's the Lord who is providing in His love, every step of the way! James 1:17). Wesley's son also helps in the ministry some, so he might have got onto the bike after the photo was taken. But it is truly amazing how many goods (and people) are traveling down the roads on these small motorcycles in India. Continue to pray for Wesley as he reaches out to the people during this time. At least 3 pastors whom he's affiliated with have died of Covid within the last 4-6 weeks, and one of our elderly died of Covid yesterday. Wesley is giving food to 15 different families as part of this project.

Food Distribution for Elderly

We are very thankful for a sponsor, World Challenge, who has granted some funds to help with food distributions during the Covid outbreak that has recently spread throughout India. They have given funds to RHM to give some extra food to all 166 of our widows & elderly, and for 50 families who are in Covid-related need during these days. Praise the Lord! Below is Brother Vijaya Raju from the village of Subba Reddy Colony. We're thankful that their village elders relaxed the lockdown rules a bit so that our brothers could go inside the village to the church for the distribution. For the last several weeks, it has been very difficult to make contact with the people whom the Lord has us connected with because of the fear of the people in these days. It's not a hoax as some might think. In Brother Wesley's area, 2 of the pastors in his pastors' fellowship have died within the last month or so, and another pastor friend of Wesley's also died a little more than a week ago, all from Covid. Pray for the safety of our ministry brothers as they continue to go and minister to the people in the love of Christ.

Pray for Annamani's Family

We've asked you to pray for little ANNAMANI over the last several weeks, knowing that her condition was critical. Sadly, Annamani passed away from this earth yesterday. She was a sweet girl, having various health issues from birth. When I left India in October, she was still strong and very energetic. When her mother and grandmother returned with her a month or so ago (we still don't understand exactly where they went or why they left the village), the child had become appallingly thin. We were giving her milk, eggs, other food items, medications, and most importantly prayer, to try and bring her back to health, but it didn't happen. She will always be remembered as a beautiful little girl, and we have the blessed hope of seeing her again. Please pray for her family.

Annamani and her mother, Divya

Celebrating Precious Pinky

PINKY (girl to the right) turned 13 years old (completed) on April 3rd. We are so thankful for Pinky and her family (mother, Pinky and older sister Preethi, in the red dress). Since early 2020, the Lord has used us to bring much healing within their hearts. Not only did He lead us to be a part of their lives, but at just the right time He equipped us with extra funds to help her family get out of debt, most of which they knew nothing about. Pinky is a precious girl, going into the 8th grade once the schools begin to reopen again. Also in the photo is Brother Raju, his wife Pavani, and Pinky's grandparents. Please pray for Pinky.

Happy Birthday Bhavya!

The child below is Sai Bhavya, who turned 10 on March 31st, her grandmother on the right and Bro. Raju's bride of 3 months, Pavani, on the left. Bhavya, like most of the children the Lord has us involved with, has a very broken past.
Distraught over Bhavya's Dad's bad habits, the mother set herself on fire when Bhavya was only 2 months old. She was in the hospital for a month or so, but died. The Dad didn't want to keep Bhavya or her older brother, so kept them with the grandmother (mother's mother). The Dad then died about 4 years later with mouth or lip cancer.
This grandmother kept both children until Bhavya was about 5 years old, but couldn't care for them financially (herself a poor widow). From then until now, the boy is with the Dad's mother, and Bhavya with the mother's mother. They seem to have much love for each other. Bhavya is a sweet girl, very active, and probably very bored having to stay inside most of the time during this current outbreak of Covid in India.
