Children & Widows Ministry Combined

Children singing in the village church in Jampalavaripalem. We were only planning to share with a few widows & elderly on that day (14th of May), but when we saw a group of children playing near the church, we invited them in. Surprisingly, they immediately came in and sat down. Turns out, these children (and some others also, including some boys) come every morning to the church for Bible study and prayer since this is their summer holidays. There were other elderly there with us as well. Praising GOD for great opportunities to participate in the Lord's work during these days while I'm in India (Dan).

Marriage Appeals

Prayer Requests for Rani & Aswini's Marriages

Please pray about assisting in providing extra funds for two different marriages happening this month. One is already finished, but the couple is lacking in some of their needs as they get started with married life (bed, cooking items, dresser, etc.). The other girl is scheduled to be married on May 27th, and has some monetary obligations for the reception in her village. Especially, please pray for these 2 couples.

Born for a PURPOSE

The 2 girls to the right and left in this photo have a precious testimony. Mary (left) and Martha are twins. When Martha was born first, she weighed 1kg (about 2 pounds). When Mary was born, she weighed 1/2kg (about 1 pound). The doctor (obviously a calloused man) told them there was no chance the smaller baby could live, so they should throw the baby out somewhere. The grandmother refused to do that, but for 10 days was hiding little Mary (not much bigger than a hand) under a sheet whenever the doctor came around. She was able to drink milk from her mother and gradually began to get stronger. After about 10 days, they showed the baby to the doctor, who was so surprised. Both girls are so precious, with a tender heart for the Lord! Aren't you glad the mother chose to have these babies, and that the grandmother had such faith and courage? Pray for these girls, and for their family. We're helping the girls with education, and the family with food and whatever else they may need in their lives.

Happy Wedding!

A very precious wedding day for Prasad and his new bride Rani yesterday (the 9th). We assist Rani with her Sunday School ministry and tuition for children from her village. Trusting the Lord that this is a good match. Rani is a precious girl with a very tender heart for the Lord. We met Prasad for the first time yesterday, and he seems to have a sincere heart for the Lord. Pray for their newly wedded life.

In India

Many technical problems since arriving in India, but thankful to see the precious people again. Also, very short on time. Hopefully things will get better on the tech side...

Below is a precious tribal family which we have reached out to: one dad, 2 moms and 11 children total (the mothers mostly working and providing). Pray the Lord will help them to receive His salvation.

Sunday School Class

This is Sunday School class in the village of Chilakala Colony. Bro. Bhaskara Rao comes here one or 2 times a month, the remaining weeks a couple of the village youth leading the classes. Here the brother is teaching, with Arpana helping him by holding a booklet that has picture in it which correlate with the story he's telling.
