Chandramma is the woman on the left. The name "Chandra" is the name of the Hindu god of the moon. It also means "bright or shiny". The end of the name, "amma", is a respectful term added to the names of elderly women. It's also a variation of another word "amma", which is the common word for "mother". Below Brother Marthababu is at Chandramma's home sharing JESUS with her family. The other woman is her daughter Suvarthamma and her 2 children, Deborah and Vijay Kumar (both praying very earnestly, or sleeping). Suvarthamma's husband left her a few years ago, so she has been living with her mother for 5 years or more, remaining single. She goes for field work when it's available, but Chandramma cannot work, being about 80 years old. Chandramma is a real blessing for us, on our widows list for several years. Because their village is somewhat remote, until recent years she would often walk more than one mile to attend any prayer meetings or services. She's been a believer about 25 years, and her husband died in 2015. A precious sister in the Lord. Please pray for her and her family.
