Never Too Small

It's never too early, and the children are never too small to teach them spiritual things. It's beautiful to see the little ones learning to pray. This is Sunday School class in a village called NTR Colony, one of 5 villages where our ministry friend, Brother Bhaskara Rao, is going each month to conduct Sunday School classes. He teaches them new songs, actions to the songs, stories, etc. Please pray for the Lord's blessing upon the Sunday School ministry.

Havila Turns 13!

"10 Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers. 11 The name of the first is Pishon; it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold." Genesis 2:10-11

Somewhere in or around the Garden of Eden was a land called "Havilah, where there is gold". Probably this Scripture is why many Christian parents will name their child Havila or Havilah in India and other countries. We also have a Havila as part of our ministry, here getting cake on her 13th birthday March 11th from Sister Pavani. Pavani and her husband, Marthababu, regularly go and minister to Havila and other children in her neighborhood. Please pray for this girl, her mother poor, her father abandoning the home. She's a very nice girl with a tender heart for JESUS.

Weekly Gathering

We have what we call a "weekly gathering" every Sunday afternoon in a village church. It is primarily for all the children, families and elderly that we work with in ministry. But everyone is welcome. We encourage all the people to attend their own local churches on Sunday morning, as we don't want this afternoon meeting to become a replacement for where the Lord may be wanting them to regularly attend. Here, Brother Raju is leading in a time of prayer. Many of our youth like these meetings, partly because many other youth are often there, usually at least 15-20 who are teenage years or older, plus many younger children. Please pray for these meetings, for the Lord's blessing and anointing.

Sharing JESUS in the Villages

RHM is only slightly involved in big cities, but primarily works with people in the smaller towns (from 10k to 80k people) and villages (from 30 to 3k people). If you have ever been to India, you know that even in the cities and towns you have many village-type communities. The people in the photo below are from a village within the town of Karlapalem. It's more typically called a "colony", and Americans might think of it as a small slum area. But aren't you thankful that "Though the Lord is exalted, yet He regards the lowly." Psalms 138:6

Most all of them are uneducated (some of the children perhaps knowing their alphabet, but maybe none of them knowing how to read), but a few of the adults have come to the Lord. Some of these village people sometimes come to the local church or meetings, and the Seeds of His love and truth are being planted. At least 4 of these children belong to the woman on the right. Please pray for these village people and their families.

Happy Birthday Little Madu!

Madu turned 8 in early February, but because she was outside her village we didn't celebrate until early March. Not sure if they are related, but this is another villager named Parishudha Rao giving her some cake. This man has always impressed me, a simple fisherman with little or no education, yet very skillful in singing and playing the drums. The Lord has used him much in local churches and meetings, singing with all his heart. Madu lost her mother to some problem with many seizures in 2023. Her father remarried, and she stays with them in the same village. Please pray for Madu.
