The Lord has provided so that this month we could cover 37 huts so far with large tarps in order to stop the leaks during the rainy season. Below is Annamma (Anna) in the village of MR Nagar. Normally, every several years we may have to replace the sticks (frame) of the roof, at the same time replacing the leaves. Even with the tarps, we will usually have to replace the leaves every few years. We try to put new tarps on each hut annually, but the tarps will not last all year long. They will tear eventually because of the wind, rain and heat of the sun. But they do a good job of prolonging the life of the roofs of these huts. We praise GOD for His provision, and the widows & elderly (and 6 families in a tribal colony) praise GOD for dry homes! If you have any problems with a leaky roof, give us a call and we'll get you fixed up. 😊
