We sent out an appeal a couple of days ago in regard to helping people in our area of India who have suffered because of Cyclone Michaung (in the US we more commonly use the word "hurricane"). The Lord has touched the heart of a gracious donor and met the entire need that we were praying for. Praise the Lord! We're excited to be able to continue helping those who are in need (most of whom we have already been ministering to in recent years) with food, clothing, repairing or rebuilding homes...whatever the need may be. Thank You Father, for "Your loving kindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the skies." Psalms 36:5
Below is Sister Radha, one of our widows, standing in the small plot of ground she rents and where she grows leaves that she can sell to help support her and her teenage girls, Preethi and Pinky. Most of the land you see around her is not hers, but rented by others. Most of her little crop was washed away by the heavy rain and high winds, all of it ruined.
