The man on the left in the photo is Jacob when receiving a new Christmas dress a few weeks ago. Jacob suffered with diabetes and kidney problems for several years. When we met him about 5 years ago, he didn't seem to have much understanding of the Lord. The man on the right is Yesu Ratnam, his pastor, whom we believe helped Jacob much in his spiritual life. He also learned from our Brother Wesley, who travels to their area at least twice a month. It's always a challenge, because probably more than 80% of our widows & elderly are illiterate. Jacob's wife is still living, so pray for her comfort. They have 4 grown children, but most of them have not taken much or any responsibility for their parents. The other 2 women in the photo are 2 of our widows in this village of Bangarakkapalem.
