Girls Now in Nursing College

This is a photo from 2016, taken in Orissa, a different state of India than where we currently are involved in ministry. But in the Lord's providence He has reconnected us with 3 of these girls who are from Orissa. From left, the 1st, 2nd and 4th bigger girls, Sibani, Leah and Deepa are all getting their nurse's training from a college not far from where we do ministry. Leah is now working in the city of Hyderabad, an internship required in her 3rd year at the college. Deepa is in her 2nd year and Sibani in her 1st year. They are a long way from their families, but there are several other Orissa girls who study in the same college. Unfortunately, we don't get to see them as much as we would like, but do get to check on them maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Pray for these 3 girls, for their future, but especially that they will grow in the Lord. We are partially sponsoring their studies.

RHM March Update

Pray for Us! RHM March Update

 

The "Pray for Us!" is the continual cry of our heart, knowing that the Lord often moves through the heart-felt prayers of His people (see James 5:16). The Lord continues to do wonders in various ways, and we are so thankful! There are also several prayer requests in this update, as well as 16 photos with captions of the beautiful children, families and elderly He has us working with. Thank you always for your prayers and support!

Blessy's Baptism

Blessy is here in the Bay of Bengal with a pastor who's about to give her baptism. Blessy's a sweet girl, now 21 years old, just finishing her 3rd year of degree college. She lives with her grandmother, Salome (in our widows program), and Aunt. They live next door to their church, and have attended that same church for many years. Please pray for Blessy, as she continues on with her studies or tries to find a job.

The Holy Spirit Touching Hearts

Below is some girls and adults gathered in Jyothi's home in a place we call Peta. It was a school holiday today (Monday the 25th), so Bro. Raju took some children to Peta to visit a girl Jyothi, whose family is a long distance from most of the rest of our children. Raju shared a nice testimony about the Lord touching some of their hearts during an extended time of prayer. Praise the Lord! We will try to share that testimony in an update, which hopefully will be sent out in a couple of days. Please pray for our children's ministry. It is a worthy ministry to support, reaching not only the children, but the other family members and some of their neighbors as well.

Pray for Shiny and Her Baby

This was wedding day for Shiny and her husband Paulson in 2020, our friends Rani & her sister Amrutha also in the photo. Shiny had a previous pregnancy, but lost the baby and had some serious health damage as a result. The doctors gave her only a 20% chance of being able to conceive again. In late 2023 she did conceive again, and she's now in either her 4th or 5th month. She sent a message a couple of days ago, saying she was having severe abdominal pains, and asking for prayer. She is currently on complete bed rest. Please pray for Shiny and her little baby.

Sweet Memories

RHM Website, Children's Ministry Page

 

Finally was able to get the RHM website fully updated (at least for now). If you see anything out of date, please send us an email and inform us. The photo below is on the Photos/Children's Ministry page from late 2022 (all the photos in the gallery have captions with a brief description of what's going on), and it says, "Mary (at this time 17) loves to swing! She found a way to get through the mud and get on that swing. This is actually a beautiful place called the Prayer Garden, but it gets muddy in some spots."
