The Great Commission, One Family at a Time

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Mark 16:15

The above Words of Christ just before His ascension are often referred to as "The Great Commission", the Lord Himself telling His apostles, and ultimately His Church, to go into all the world, preach, and make disciples "of all the nations". Preaching can often take place on a larger scale, but making disciples is often one life, one family at a time. Around June 2021 we met the family below. They had almost nothing, and knew almost nothing about JESUS. They had some knowledge about "God", but very little. They would tell you themselves that they were not truly saved or born again believers. Martha (2nd from the right) and her mother (left) have repented and been baptized, Mary (right) is learning well, and all the family is faithful to attend our weekly services on Sunday evenings. Prem (young man) and his wife Chandrika next to him knew very little about the Lord, but are growing in their knowledge of Christ. Prem also helps us with transportation for our children and families to meetings, as he is an auto rickshaw driver. RHM donations are helping Martha and Mary with their nursing college education. Please pray for this precious family.

His Great Love for the Poor

"Though the Lord is exalted, yet He regards the lowly" Psalms 138:6. We see this all through the Bible, our amazing Creator and King reaching out to the needy, and even using the poor and insignificant of this world to accomplish His great purposes. Probably any sincere worker for the Lord will witness this throughout their lifetime: GOD's great love reaching down to the most broken, poor and undeserving (which includes ALL of us). These villagers have just about nothing of this world's possessions, and don't aspire to much more than that. But still He has loved them. The 2 women have given their hearts to the Lord. We tried to put the 3 bigger kids in the photo (2 boys and 1 girl) in a better school, but because of fear in the children and lack of support from their fathers, they didn't stay in school but a few weeks. 90% or more of the men in their culture will be alcoholics, abuse their wives, and take little care for their children...but still He loves them, so still we reach out to them. The tallest girl, Padma, has had a large growth on her back for years. Please pray for her, and for a move of the Holy Spirit among these precious souls.

Click the above to see what's going on via the ministry in India. An exciting trip for boys to a big city, a widow's home burned down, a couple of girls moving into a home...many things for you to pray about, and get involved with as the Lord leads you. Bless you! Below is our boys group that went on an excursion recently (more in the update).

Precious Akshaya's Birthday

Sister Pavani is with Akshaya, who turned 14 on April 4th. When she was little, she had many seizures and some mental issues (not sure her actual problem). Her mother is a good believer, but her father (an electrician) is not always reliable to help his wife and 2 daughters. Since we started helping Akshaya with regular meds and more nutritional food, she seems to be doing better and is more stable. A very sweet girl. Please pray for Akshaya, and also for Pavani (she and her husband Raju our children's ministry leaders), who is due to have her baby during the first week of June.

Helping This Widow and Her Boys

This is Salome from the easy-to-say village of Jampalavaripalem SC (well, maybe not very easy). Bro. Wesley (a pastor who helps us with the widows & elderly ministry) visits this village at least twice a month, visiting the pastor (Laban), Salome and 2 other widows, all 3 attending Bro. Laban's church. We just added Salome into our widows program last year, as her husband died of a terrible and painful skin disease, leaving her and her 2 teenage boys in a critical position (she took big loans trying to get medical help for her husband). Salome works in the agricultural fields when work is available. RHM is giving food for her family each month. Please pray for Salome and her boys.

Happy Birthday Pinky!

Pinky turned 16 on April 3rd. Here, Bro. Marthababu and his wife Pavani are giving cake to Pinky. This couple is doing fulltime ministry for us among the children, and doing very nicely. Pray for them also, as they have been praying for a baby for more than 10 years without success. They have surrendered it into the Lord's faithful Hands, but certainly the desire is still there. Congratulations to Pinky, who received her 10th grade final exam results today, passing all her subjects with good marks (grades). Please pray for Pinky.
